My flight - also purchased through Orbitz - wasnt to land before check-in closed at the Sheridan. I called the hotel to get an 'after hours' check-in. They required a lengthy form to be completed (annoying, but certainly doable). However, they required a picture of my CC and my drivers license. That's absurd. I've had my identity stolen in the past (by no fault of my own) and to send that type of information (in picture form no less) to a Marriot or a Hilton would give me pause. To send it electronically to a an outfit I've never heard of would be wildly stupid a d irresponsible on my part. I called Orbitz and explained to no avail, escalated the matter, and was turned away. I did this weeks in advance, not the night before. I wasnt trying to scam anyone or take advantage of anything. Orbitz told me to go pound sand. In a way I'm going to just that. I'll easily convince every single person and family I know, and everyone I can reach on social media to NEVER use Expedia, Orbitz, Hotels.com or any related entity. I wont see my money again, but I'll be sure to multiply my expense X1,000 to lost business revenue to your shady outfut.
Parking was limited but free. Accommodated late check in but code didn't work, luckily staff still onsite but not sure what would have happened if there were problems after hours. Overall, very nice for the price and would stay again.
For the price, we expected more. I understand the need for hotels near the cruise lines portal, but another location we stayed at offered more amenities for almost half the price. The kitchenette was nice but not for an overnight stay like we did. The security was great. Didn't think this was the best idea for just an overnight stay. No place to purchase a snack or drink. We were offered water and we replied that a bottle would be nice, we were offered a CUP of water.
There were flying bugs inside the units, and the place was only cleaned prior to check-in and not during the stay. The communal areas seemed to have the same people all the time as if they lived there—did they?
We were traveling from out of town so we were not going to make the 9 check in time. In order to check in I was forced to provide my state ID and credit card via email . Because we had already paid through Orbitz I was not able to get my money back. This was not mention in their terms of condition at all. There was another guest there that constantly banged on the walls throughout the night and constantly yelling. Which means I did not sleep well at all. When I bring it to the attention of management their response was the gas should be checking out that night. Later that night the banging still occurred. When I went back they question why the new guest did the same as the old guest. I would assume the guest that checked out wasn't the one making the noise! In order to get any type of rest we went to the Best Western Hotel to sleep. Meaning we have to pay for two hotels. Never ever again!
Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and well air conditioned for Florida’s temperature. Bed linen and towels provided were clean and room/bathroom were cleaned daily. Great option if you are traveling alone and won’t be spending much time in your room. Deposit was released quickly after my stay. Neighborhood was a little scary/sketchy after dark. There were also quite a few places to eat and shop in the neighborhood. It was also blocks away from public transportation and a 15 minute bus ride from the airport terminal.
Great hotel for couple of nights, especially who is traveling alone
I was curious about the hostel experience, so I booked a bed for one night. Met travelers from Europe as well as North America. People were courteous, yet respectful of boundaries. While this wasn't luxurious, it was quite adequate for the price. The common area is undergoing some renovations, but was still relaxing. I enjoyed the experience.

Even you Review is Anonymous. You seem to be disappointed with all together: Sheridan Guesthouse, Expedia, Orbitz, Hotels.com Let me assure you, you are out of line. Expedia Group of Companies is the owner of most of them and rules the majority of the market. If you like to make you own regulations, you are welcome to the challenge. You will have to go to the Travel Agents and they will book true EXPEDIA. Expedia/Orbits told you that you are /were out of line. You called us: "shaadi outlet". How can we, after that, allow you in without full Scrutiny and ID check with magnifying glass. In the future, Please consider to rent only DIRECT and Only from Magor Flag Hotels. There are bunch of benefits at highly more expensive rates. Or be Cooperative, Polite, on Time and agree in advance to get less service for considerably less of the Costs. a) At Sheridan Guesthouse we ID Guests, take Temperature, before placement. b) Guests must report for proper Registration with in registration hrs. c) We have to Control our Guests flow and Guests Conduct. d) We do not make special arrangements, for out of policy Guests. e) We remove Guests that do not confirm to the House Rules, of the property. If any of the lines above do not work for you, please consider of not wasting your time and money. We wish you a good lock of fleeping the world of travel and if you succeed, please do not hesitate to let us know. Daly Housekeeping is not included on rental Apartments and advertised clearly as SELF - Service. We provide Cleaning and supplies only before arrival/check-in. In Sheridan GuestHouse Lodge we have renovated all our Studio Apartment in 2018. New Kitchens were installed. All Bathrooms were renovated or replaced. Garden was re-landscaped and re-planed. Kitchens are equipped with Refrigerators, Microwaves, Coffee makers, Tea Pots Toasters, Dishes Silverware & extra. Property is situated in Large Garden, with Sun Deck and Fountains, TV lounge, 2 BBQ areas for outside cooking and grilling. Gazebos, Gated Entrance and plenty of space to roam around. On site Parking and Bike rack. Absolutely beautifully Lit-up during the night is amazing. It is plenty of common areas to consider and enjoy during your stay. Bedding and mattresses all new and excellent quality. All Studios are fully Air Conditioned and clean. 2 Additional FULL Bathroom located several steps away for no waiting convenience of Hostel Guests. No noise policy is enforced for Guests quiet enjoinment. We running this property as Clean, Green, Quiet, Secured & Tranquil place to spent a Night or Extended stay. Thanks for 4 Stars out of 5. From the 19th of December to about April 5th or 10 are the most desirable and busy dates in South Florida and for that reason are expensive. We do not Compete with 5 stars Hotels but they are astronomically expensive in season. Large Hotels do not have refrigerators , kitchens, BBQ Grills or private entrance.
