Privacy for two couples in bedrooms on opposite ends of the home each with its own bathroom. Sleeps 4 adults (two couples) comfortably with an additional twin trundle bed that sleeps two. Total sleeping capacity is 6 people.

• Paradise Village of Shell Point, less than 1000 feet from Shell Point Beach which has been recently renovated with pure white sand and an adorable pirate playground.
• Located 27 miles/40 minutes south of the center of Tallahassee.

• Fully equipped kitchen with a serving bar is open to the living/dining area that seats up to 6 comfortably with leaves installed.
• The no-see-um proof screened in patio includes a dining table and chairs for six; Sun shades help keep it comfortable even on hot North Florida days. Gas and Charcoal grill is readily accessible and propane is provided by the host.
Fishing is great in the waters surrounding Shell Point. Fishing permits are required.
• Free Golf Cart for your use! Community semi-private pool only for residents and guests of the gated enclave. The pool is seasonal open from Mid March - October.
• Walk to Shell Point Beach. You will pass by the new Wakulla County boat ramp/marina
• Shell Point Beach has several gazebos for shade and dining, with newly renovated public washrooms and showers. The Gulf off Shell Point Beach is shallow for about a hundred feet from the beach, making it very safe for smaller children.
Guests can expect to find a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a kitchen, and a washing machine.

The area is fabulous for older people. It is not a kid friendly area. The home is filthy, we were taking the sheets off of the bed and a roach crawled out of the pillowcase. There are obvious signs that the property was flooded and was not fixed. The golf carts were non existent. There was a Cush man that was on its last leg. The only beach within an hour of the property is not lay out on the beach worthy. It is a place that people offload their water devices. And if you stay bring bottled water. We would not even brush our teeth with tap water.

Property is a bit dated, and it’s an older mobile home but it’s close to the beach (it’s also free to park there) and has most everything you need. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We are thinking of coming back as we like this small, quiet community and the ease of walking into and out of the water (good for folks with mobility issues) and this place is everything we needed and affordable this close to the ocean.

A Shell Of A Good Time

We had an amazing stay. The house is a little older, so you have to accept a few flaws here and there, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world. It's a perfect location, walking distance to the beach, however.....why walk when there is a golf cart provided for your convenience. Check in was simple. Communication with the host was easy. And the pool was splendid after a hot sticky day! There were PLENTY of towels for all of our numerous showers, which was AWESOME! And the fishing was pretty good the whole trip, even snagged a shark! We had a blast!!

Family Summer Getaway

We enjoyed the location of the property. We took a 5 day 4 night stay at shell point beach. Very private beach. The home was enough for what we needed. We Enjoyed dinners and breakfast on the screened in porch. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms for an older mobile home. We cooked and had all we needed. All appliance newer and working. The back bedroom (master) gets a tad warm but we just used what fans they had to move the window unit air to the back room. We also enjoyed having access to the Golf Cart. We had an issue with the front door key pad lock. We informed the owner but I don’t think anyone ever came by. We used the side door with a key instead which was fine. It’s an easy walk to the beach with a kids playground and easy walk to the pool. We even invested in tennis rackets to use the courts. We loved this beach. But it is about 20 minutes to most everything. We couldn’t find a mini putt putt place for the kiddos. Oh St Marks was beautiful but we didn’t catch any fish. We enjoyed seafood at Porters in crawfordsville and trident in pancea Fl. Great spots!

1. Upon arrival, noticed the dock was torn apart. Found out it happened last year. 2. Neither of the two golf carts worked - both missing a battery. note: I called the host & he did come over & fixed/repaired the golf carts. He also hauled in a new dock, but it was not installed before I left. All in all, a satisfactory stay, but not as advertised.

Home needs some major updating. 2 of the 3 beds are very unstable and we are not big people. Dishes had been left in the dishwasher. Wrong key was left for the golf cart. Tried to contact the owner. No response til we got home and he called 3 days later.

Needs some work

This was a great property in its prime. The property manager was responsive to the issues but the owner never answered our phone calls. The reason why we booked here was because of the golf cart since it is not directly on the beach. The golf cart was not charged, charged overnight and wouldn’t crank up. The batteries would not charge properly. The oven never worked, the dishwasher wouldn’t drain (fixed by handyman), the stove stopped working while cooking breakfast and never came back on. The remote was chewed to pieces by a dog. The front porch furniture was old boat seats that had black mold. The drawers were dirty, missing wheel to the dishwasher, the floor was sketchy at best. It has plywood repairs with carpet covering it up. Things were rigged with tape and some things cheaply repaired with glue. The pots and pans were nasty. Lots of junk drawers. Just not up to standard.
