We ended up switching hotels half way through our stay, and we are not that picky. When I checked in, no mention of early breakfast times nor when the bar closes. We were operating on west coast time so it all made a difference and we missed breakfast, etc. Could not tell by the pictures, but I wanted a suite, which it was called, so my kids could sleep on the pull-out couch separated by a door. No door. Ok.. then the pull out mattress was literally the worst I've ever seen in my life. Or rather, felt. It's just kids, but even I couldn't do that to them for 4 nights! So, so, so very bad. The staff were just young and inexperienced, or so it seemed. Not super helpful, nor gracious. I didn't need anything, but it was the tone, and they spent a lot of time talking to each other in great volume as if we were not there. Awkward. I did not have time to deal with this nor did I feel paying for it was a choice of mine. When we checked out early, no one even asked why, oddly. The food was terrible, too, but it usually is in hotels. We are not sure if our kids all threw up from food poisoning or other germs, but it's a possibility of unwashed hands touching food since they each took turns after a dinner there next couple days. I really wanted this place to work out well and it was so opposite I have to make a review, which I don't normally have time for in the day. One good thing is they had automatic and wide doors for luggage when the Marriott Residence does not

Rooms and hotel was clean but breakfast was not included and we sat for 15 min but no one would even take our drink order let alone serve us. We went to McDonalds instead.

This hotal was poorly constructed and noisy due to extremely bad insulation and a gap under the door. The floors are wood and. It concrete so you hear walking above you. I could hear every noise in the hallway late at night within 30 feet of my door. Including door opens and closes. The parking lot was in horrible condition and the hotel staff was aware of the sub quality concrete. The hotel staff shared my concerns and were apologetic. The hotel design is very nice and new and very clean.

The front desk clerk was literally waiting for me. Dan at the bar was welcoming and great to talk to. The food at the restaurant was good and breakfast was fast. On the second to last day of my trip the manager left a thank you note under my door. The location is a bit outside of town. I stay in CoMo about 5 nights a quarter. I will consider this hotel again.

This was a great place to stay. Although the Holiday Inn Express near Stadium is a little closer, this was very convenient. The staff was good to deal with, and the room was very nice.

Hotel is easy to get to & has a great location to Columbia hospitals & university. The staff was very professional. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!

Nice hotel. Newish. Mostly very clean but a few questionable spots in the bathroom. No free breakfast but a restaurant.

Great value. There isn't anything around, so we had to drive up a few exits to eat.

It was great for a getaway. It was away from the typical traffic that Columbia has but close enough that you didn't feel like you would have to travel to do something. The staff was completely friendly and I can't wait until my next trip to stay there again. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and completely clean.

The room was great. The staff was great. I just wish we had more time to spend there! We were on our way to the Kansas Speedway (about 1 1/2 hours from this location) and stayed overnight. It is very easy to find and just off the highway. The rooms are beautiful and the free WiFi is a good bonus.

We had a great experience here. Staff were very friendly. We stayed in Kansas City the night before and the staff at that hotel were nowhere near friendly; they were borderline rude. Customer service was excellent here. Very clean, modern, bed was very comfortable. Great bar and restaurant with reasonable prices. Location was convenient as well. We highly recommend this Holiday Inn!

Last stay of 2 week trip. Good choice. No breakfast offered though. Room was new and had some loose fixtures and the lounge chair for the corner was missing. Other than that a good stay.

We stayed one night as a mini vacation for our kids, would have liked a breakfast included, however the kids did get to eat free. This hotel was brand new, clean, nice employees, and pool area was perfect for our kids.

OVER NIGHT STAY. THE THIRD TIME I HAVE USED THIS HOTEL AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT. GREAT STAFF AND SERVICE. GREAT ROOMS.

It was a great stay and would recommend to all who stays in Columbia

Stephanie, I'm so sorry that you did not have a good stay with us. Thank you for your feedback, I do appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention. We will be looking at the sofa bed that was in your room and replace it if needed. I will also go over the comments regarding the staff. Please rest assured that no other guests reported illness and we are regularly inspected by the Health Department and have had no issues. We do maintain strict standards in our restaurant in regards to cleanliness.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you were unable to have breakfast at Kems during your stay. We have been hiring new staff on for our busy season, and hopefully will avoid a re-occurrence of this situation. I do hope you will give us another chance to provide you with a 5 star review!
