Facility itself was fine. It was difficult to get help at the front desk. But they sure did call and wake up my entire family at 11:21 pm to see if our digital key had been activated, which, no, it wasn't because nobody was ever available to help at the front desk. Incredibly unnecessary and rude in my opinion. We had all been asleep for nearly 2 hours at that point as we had an early meeting time the next morning, so it was very much unappreciated.
Service was okay. Room dirty. Stained shower. Hair in sink and on towels. Water bottles under the bed. Stained sheets.
Property billed me in addition to the Orbitz charge, discovered a few days later, prompting me to submit a support ticket to Hilton (to which I never received a reply) and eventually had to call them to get action on the removal of the charge.
Exactly what we needed and where we needed to be to tour the university. Perfect!
The property was well maintained. The staff was young so when we had a problem with noise and then the toilet they tried to be responsive but the solutions were ineffective until they moved us to another room. Thank goodness there was one room left on the 4th floor where the toilet worked around 11:30 pm. In all fairness, I'm not sure if this is the typical situation. Many of the other people staying at the hotel were participating or attending a wrestling match the next day so they were hyped up.
Very close to MU and walking distance to the University hospital the stadium. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Always a great experience.
The Hampton Inn was excellent! The staff were so great and very helpful! They even brought fresh baked cookies for our whole basketball team and came to breakfast and wished them all good luck on their games. Top notch job Hampton Inn! Way to take care of your customers! It was also nice to have the Stadium Bar and Grill connected to the hotel. It made getting a whole team fed really convenient and the staff was excellent there as well!
Hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious. Enjoyed our stay it was very pleasant.
We always stay in this hotel, very close to the swimming pool we are going to, staff are always very friendly.
We didn't spend much time in the room the first day. The bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Daylight showed us the dust clumps along the ceiling and the stains on the inside-out sheets (that wouldn't stay down on the corners overnight.) We were given room 134--- a handicap-accessible room. The bench in the shower had blond hair tangled to the hinge (I'm a brunette), black mold along the floor in the back of the shower, and pink mold along the front. We could not get out of there fast enough! Disgusting!!!
