Very nice hotel, staff was very friendly. Accommodated are they check out also .

Great hotel , convient to everything downtown.staff was very pleasant and helpful! Didn't like that over 400$ was put on hold in my checking acct by hotel , just in case!! Overall excellent.

Couple blocks to Mag Mile, couple blocks to theaters, couple blocks to Millennium Park...right in the middle of all the action.

We asked for a room with a river view and it was spectacular! We have stayed at this hotel twice before. The last time was in 2014. Didn't care too much for the renovations in the lobby and changes made to the street level facilities. Missed the bar area where it was more spacious and comfortable and you could order food.

We arrived early and the staff was friendly and we were able to check in over 2 hours before the stated check-in time. The room, while somewhat dated, was still nice and spacious. The hotel facilities were very good overall. The 4th floor bar was cool with a great city view. We had a nice breakfast in the second floor restaurant, again with a great city view.

The hotel and room were very nice. The only downside was the L right next to the hotel, it was a bit loud at night.

This hotel was perfect for us in every way. Reasonable prices for four of us in a room. Great location. Beautiful lobby area with a great cafe option, energetic ambiance, and a lovely rooftop bar. The rooms very spacious, clean, and suited us well.

Everything was great, except the bad smell of the hotel when walking into the hotel. Overall was good

Very nice hotel and facility, but beware that the spa offers only pool and massages. No hot tub, steam room or sauna.

Located in a wonderful area in the heart of downtown. The staff was super friendly as well. It was the perfect place to stay for a couples weekend and I can't wait to stay there again.

The Renaissance gave us great service and the view from our room was amazing.

excellent view and location poor service level overpriced internet access & breakfast considering room price - should both be included in the room price state of the art gym

The Renaissance hotel is spectacularly beautiful. The walking distance to any of Chicago's attractions and restaurants is great! The staff was very friendly and courteous. I would definelty stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, fee for wireless seems unnecessary.

This hotel was in prefect location to our meeting space.

New linen and nice pool and gym. Excellent chef and delicious restaurant. Only downside is old carpet and old furniture in the rooms.

Very easy to get to, great location, courteous staff; very comfortable room, great sheets and towels. Very luxurious and charming hotel, not like a cookie cutter chain, has its own charm. Breakfast was also very good. Very good value for money!

A great surprise by the family to take me to the Renaissance Hotel for my birthday. The location was wonderful and the staff was very courteous. I could not of asked for a better time.

This hotel had a great location--we were visiting for a trip to the Chicago Theater. Our room actually overlooked the theater (which made for some great pics with the kids), the river, and trump tower. Super fast to get in and out, good with kids, great (big) bathroom in the room, room service was kid-friendly, and there was plenty to do within in a few blocks. It was super cold out when we stayed, so we didn't venture far, but we didn't need to--we could find food and shopping within 1-3 blocks.

stayed for business, great view of the river and city.
