I can't believe you charged me $18 for Parking... Really? Like your room rates weren't high enough, you need to charge for parking!!!! How Rude!!!

Overall it was a great experience. The staff is friendly and courteous. The property is well maintained with good updated rooms. Few peeves 1. We were surprised at the amount of highway noise filtering into the room. Not sure anything can be done about it. 2. Why charge for parking?! All hotels as little as a couple of miles away do not charge for parking. 3. A lot of hotels offer complementary breakfast, but not this one. We ended up paying about $60 without tip for breakfast for 4.

The service at the Bistro was not good. After a wait to get service I walked away without ordering. The menu was ok at best.

I recently had a flight cancelled and I spent the night at the Courtyard Marriott O'Hare. After booking the hotel, I called the Front Desk and they said their complimentary shuttle to/from ORD ran every 30 minutes. The shuttle arrived to the Shuttle Center at ORD right on the dot and I was on my way. Shuttle ride was quick and painless, check-in/out was a breeze, and the Airport Shuttle was on the dot at 5:30am. Great experience in midst of my travel nightmare!

Check in was a breeze. The front desk representatives were very informative and helpful. We had our granddaughters with us, and they wanted to go out to eat. The hotel shuttled us to the restaurant and back. We didn't have to wait very long to get taken or picked up. The drivers were very friendly. We loved the courtyard. They have a lot of seating and beautiful trees. We needed to be shuttled to and from the airport, again, we didn't have to wait very long. Our granddaughters enjoyed the pool. We love the location because it is close to a lot of great restaurants and it's close to the airport.

Had a good time and very quiet. It was nice that Rivers Casino was within walking distance.

Toilet was broken. Breakfast took over 30 minutes and staff was rude.

Curtious efficient check in. Comfortable beds. Minutes to the casino and shuttle to the airport.

A little noisy beside the hwy, but for someone as sensitive hearing, it ws really more like white noise and I had no problems sleeping. Casino right next door! Had a really fun evening playing penny slots and hitting the buffet. Front desk staff very nice. I sprung for the extra $10 per night ahead of time on Orbitz for included breakfast which ended up being a really good idea. It was just a little cafe-type dining area, and quite expensive. But we had already paid and were able to order off the menu without additional cost. Would have cost close to $20 for breakfast for both of us had we not paid ahead.

Excellent staff, excellent Shuttle Service to pick you either from the airport or from any surrounding point. Very clean and comfortable. The rooms are somehow from the front desk. Needs more elevators .

This hotel is very warm and inviting. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Like hotel staff very good tv in room did not work good couldn't get any stains except to buy a movie channel

Everything deserves 5 star rating. Pool, Room size, Cleanliness, Location, Staff & Services

-Hotel is difficult to access from the highways, even though many rooms face the highway. Lot's of road noise in the room. Easy to get lost finding the hotel, even with GPS. -Hotel charges an extra $18 fee for overnight parking not included in the price of the room - GOTCHA! -Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Small ala carte coffee bar with some breakfast items which was convenient. Overall experience was a mixed bag - there must be other options that are better.

All good overall. Nice stuff. Clean room. Good location.

We booked at the Marriott O'hare because my daughter had a 5 am flight on New Year's day and my husband wanted to check out the casino. Overall we accomplished both and were happy with our stay. Positives: The facilities were very clean with a pleasant soothing decor. Even on New Year's Eve we didn't have any trouble with noise or disturbances. The pool is small, but it was almost empty both in the evening and next morning. It only goes to a depth of 5 ft the temperature was pleasant, not cold... but not so warm as you would find it uncomfortable after a couple of laps. The hot tub was on the low side of hot. Not simply warm, like many hotels offer. The button is however, far from the tub. The tub and pool were very pleasant looking out on the courtyard and towels are provided. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The casino is practically in the lobby. Not So Positive: The mattresses are VERY FIRM, not my preference. The pillows are acceptable... the bedding felt starchy like new bedding... which is in some ways nice, but with the dry heated air of winter... bring some lotion. I called the hotel prior to booking and was told by staff that there was a twenty-four hour shuttle so the 5am flight would not be a problem. When we got there we were told airport shuttle service starts at 4am (too late)... It worked out because they had an all night New Year's Eve shuttle running which took her to the airport, but we had the same discussion all over in the morning when trying to board the shuttle. Positive: The staff solved the problem for us. Negative: There IS NOT a 24 hour shuttle. There is not complimentary breakfast. There is a little snack shop which is useful. The small restaurant is The Bistro. It basically has sandwiches, which were good, if small. Airport prices. The choices of sides for the sandwiches are very limited and not enticing in the least.

We stayed here for a concert at Allstate Arena it was really close and easy to get to. Very nice and clean plus added bonus of being next to the casino. It was a great stay!

We had a wonderful experience at the Courtyard Marriott. All of the staff from the shuttle driver to the front desk personnel were excellent. They were helpful and responded quickly to requests. The pool and hot tub were in great condition. We did not eat breakfast but you could order a variety of items.

Thank you for your comments regarding parking charges. We apologize that this was not conveyed to you before booking your reservation. You will find, however, that the majority of the airport hotels do charge for parking and our rates are significantly lower than most of the area. We hope that should your travels take you to the Chicagoland area again we have the pleasure of hosting you again.

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We are glad that overall you enjoyed the hotel. Thank you for your feedback regarding the noise from the highway. We are continually trying to find ways to minimize the noise from the increased highway traffic! Regarding parking charges, it has become necessary for the majority of airport hotels to charge for parking due to non-hotel guests using the lots for extended parking while traveling. There are hotels that are a bit further from the airport that do not charge for parking, but unfortunately it has become necessary in order to avoid our lot filling up and not being able to offer spots to our overnight guests. We are aware that Expedia does offer packages that include breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children. The package rate for your stay may not have been available when you booked your room. We are sorry that the cost was more that expected.

Thank you so much for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We apologize for the delay in the Bistro for food service. We understand the frustration you experienced and we have addressed your concerns with our Bistro attendants. We had an unexpected surge in hotel guests recently due to weather across the country as well as the airlines grounding airplanes. This does not excuse the excessive delay, however. We hope that should your travels take you to the Chicago area again, we have the pleasure of hosting you!!
