Great location, great front desk communication, asked for my room to get cleaned and it did not for 4 days.

Nikki was very nice and accommodating

It was in a great location

Great place to stay

This hotel was cute enough--tucked into a nice block in Old Town-- but Old Town isn't what it used to be, and be ready to walk through a literal minefield of dog waste, and if you go to Wells street to eat, be prepared for loud and obnoxious drunk people who throw an almost unbelievable amount of trash everywhere. It was like walking through a garbage dump the next morning. Also, everything is unnecessarily expensive...which brings me to the $30 "urban fee" that the hotel charges you to give you the "urban vibe." Is that the urban vibe-- dog poo and garbage? Because otherwise, the only thing I got for that $30 was two bottles of Niagara water from Walmart. The elevators and hallways could use some updating, the showers are big and modern, but could use some scrubbing bubbles, and the rooms are *small*...way smaller than the pictures make them seem. Also, there are no extra pillows or blankets in the closets like in most hotels. Probably would not stay again.

Clean hotel and great location.

Miss Cookie made our stay the best! She was super friendly and offered to help freshen up our room after commenting on the smoke smell.

The location in the city.

Upon entering the property you are greeted by a well maintained and up-to-date lobby. Unfortunately, the rooms don't reflect what you see in the lobby. I paid for the king deluxe room to have more space. While I had enough space, the first room they put me in had a window that looked into a stairwell to the parking garage. No matter what time of the day, the room was very dark - dungeon like. Furthermore, the room was not in great shape. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling from water damage. The bathroom is very small. The toilet seat was discolored and looked as if it had never been replaced. After the first day, I asked to be moved to a different room. The gentleman working the reception area was very kind. He promptly found me another room with windows that actually looked outside. I was thankful that he did that. The second room had similar issues with the bathroom ceiling - peeling from what I assume was water damage. For what I paid for the room, I would have expected it to be in better condition. Location wise the hotel was a win. It was about two blocks from a redline stop which was very convenient to everything we did in Chicago. The hotel was very quiet which I appreciated. Again, compliments to Miche who was working that weekend. He was kind and very helpful.

Great location. Very walkable.

Generally a pretty good place, location is great and staff was friendly. They checked in with me a lot during the trip and helped when needed. After the first check in I indicated that the view in my room was bad (parking deck/AC vents) and the AC was loud so they moved me to a better view room. The new room was much smaller with a loud AC and a basic shower. I was happy with their attention but the rooms were a little off. Also, the bar was closed the two days I was there, we had some mobility issues on this trip and would have liked an in house drink.

Cool lobby, very pretty

Loved the location Good restaurants nearby Staff very helpful

Great location, lots of cool restaurants nearby and its by the water

price of parking the car. poor elevator function. entrance door damaged

Great location! The lobby and bar area was awesome as well. We had read the rooms were a disconnect from the vibe of the lobby but we were pleasantly surprised by their comfort as well. Bathroom was definitely tiny- not for big people and the hallways were narrow as well.

I was very disappointed to find out upon my arrival that there was a additional $22.00/day “resort fee” that was not made clear to me at the time I made my reservation through Orbitz
