Overall experience met my expectations in refards to hospitality & comfort. The room i chose on the app was the room i was given. (This doesnt happen often). "King Deluxe" cozy yet spacious. I love this little hotel! The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely staff there again in the future. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was the blase attitude of some of the bar staff. I think the customer service there would be better if it was connected to the hotel.

A Chicago find

The hotel was in an excellent location. A charming neighborhood walkable to old town and the lake. The room was small, but efficient. A great place to stay if you are exploring different neighborhoods in Chicago.

This is not a fancy hotel. It is a lovely, straightforward mid-range hotel which gracefully provides what the traveler needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really lovely. The room was perfect for our needs. Loved having the fireplace in the room. Enough space for two to stay and even have a quiet day in during a snow day. The location is excellent. Easy public transit right around the corner. Easy walk to food and shopping and the lake. The coffee shop in the hotel was a lovely addition.

It was a nice place with a comfortable bed and two complementary water bottles. Check in was quick and easy. The parking garage is right next-door for $59.
