Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort

The whole place is short staffed. Restaurant: We waited 18 minutes before a waitress came despite 4 trips to the hostess. The whole breakfast took over an hour and 15 min. Dinner at the night before had items on the beer menu, you are no longer offering. We had prepaid breakfast only to learn that 3 items are not available for us. GM needs major training or needs to be replaced

Hotel has lots of amenities - nice pool, big water slide, lazy river, mini golf, movies, kids play area, organized activities, etc. short walk to the beach, but they also have a frequent shuttle. The restaurant was good, nothing great, but good and reasonable prices. The room was clean and comfortable. Really close to the port if you are cruising before or after.

Not expected, got relocated and ruined our bday party experience since the pool was too par from our room

My Wife and I got away for the first time in 10 years by ourselves. I called and worked with the people at the resort ahead of time to make sure we had a room with a view of the ocean. When we arrived our view was looking at the back of a sand dune. When I reported it to the staff they didn't care. Told my I ordered the wrong room.... Second day, we went out for the day exploring and expecting to return and enjoy the pool and the amenities like the lazy river.. NOPE - We arrived at about 8:00pm, (pool supposed to be open until 10:00) the entire facility was shut down and had been since 3:00pm.. On a Saturday.. We will not go back to this resort.. Our weekend getaway was basically ruined by this resort.

Yes, a 3 star resort but fabulous activities for kids and the entire family. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a Time Share that rents available space. Best supplied kitchen of any Time Share we have ever been to with full stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and tools. Only drawback was sleeping arrangements-two double beds in a tiny bedroom.

The hotel staff did a great job to cater to our needs. The staff was also very friendly. We were blown away by all the things there were to do at the Hotel. (water park, putt-putt, beach etc.)

Close to cruise ports. Great facilities. My kids loved the waterpark and the indoor playground that was open until 10 pm. Would stay here again.

They made me switch to a different room and said it was the law that I needed to be in a more expensive room. The property was nice but, that upset me a lot. Not sure I will be back based off of that alone.

Great place to stay, right near the beach! Only thing is that it is a little secluded and away from stores and restaurants so may need a car or take taxi to go places. But the restaurant was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Different activities such as mini golf, basketball court, movies and shows, as well as a nice pool and water slide to keep the kids busy and entertained. I highly recommend the magic show!

Everything was so clean and the staff was amazing! Anytime we needed something, they were on it. Our son loved all the fun things for him to do. We came here for four days after being at disney world for four days so that we could relax from that part of our vacation. Best decision ever! In fact, they offer timeshare here (didn't push a presentation on us) and we are thinking about doing it, even without having done a presentation. No matter what, we will absolutely be back here!

We stayed at Cape Caribe both before and after our cruise. Our 2 kids ages 8 & 10 loved the indoor obstacle course and we watched 1 movie in the theater. We left our car parked at the resort which worked well excet waiting for a shuttle bus to arrive after the cruise to take us back to the resort ( next time we will just take a cab). Timing to hang out at the beach & pool, get a burger poolside, and change before being shuttled to the cruise terminal worked great. Room was very clean and they let us use the room's beach towelles for the day even after we checked out. Restaurant was ok for lunch. Nice beach access with hoses to wash off stuff. We are staying there again in November.

It is great to go with the kids... It is an average hotel and nothing really special. They no longer serve breakfast in the hotel so you have to leave the grounds if you didn't bring food to the room.

Had so much fun we have 3 kids 3 and under it was perfect.

This is our second time at Ron Jon but probably won't be our last. Stay just two nights in a studio which was well-equipped, Two TVs microwave compact fridge. There's always plenty of activities going on as well as bingo by the pool. The pool is a great center of activity which is clean and fun for the whole family. The only downfall of our stay was our bathroom had a foul sewer smell that Maintenance was unable to correct. Upon checkout speaking with the manager about the situation He accommodated us with an adjustment. As I said before we would definitely stay here again and recommend a place for families with small children to teenagers.

We arrived after a 3 night Disney Cruise and the Ron Jon Resort was a welcome sight. Plenty for our 12 and 13 year olds to do and the staff kept them busy with flag football, basketball, water volleyball, mini golf etc. We all loved the layout of the hotel and the water park/slide was a great feature. Short walk to a great beach. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The grill food was reasonably priced and pretty good. I wish that they had offered breakfast! Having traveled quite a bit and been approached for timeshares quite often, this is one location I would seriously consider.

We absolutely LOVED the Ron Jon! We stayed here for a few nights after a cruise and it was fantastic. We rented a few bikes and were able to easily get to and from the beach as well as bike on the beach. Our studio room was perfect and the pool area was huge. The only downside would be having to go and buy food to have in the kitchen. It would have been nice if they had a continental breakfast as well. Overall, wonderful stay!

Much more than we expected....We stayed for just one night but we will be back!

will go back next year. cound not have asked for more! fun for whole family.

We had just spent a few days at a supposed "magical" Vacation Club villa in Orlando and needed to escape from that tourist trap and hit the beach before going home. I came across the Ron Jon Resort and gave it a shot, primarily based on the look of the pool. We had a great experience. Our room was almost identical to what we had in Orlando. Unlike Orlando, Ron Jon had more amenities available on site without having to continually dish out cash. Staff was friendly and helpful without the plastic fake smiles. The pool was amazing, mini golf was fun (and free) and the beach was a short walk. We did not have a chance to eat at Ron Jon, but we were directed to several restaurants in the Cocoa Beach area (recommended by the Ron Jon restaurant staff). We'll be back - hopefully for more than two days next time.

We just spent a long weekend at Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort and had a terrific time. The location is a bit odd when you drive up because it's the Port Authority road and is very industrial looking - don't be fooled! The Ron Jon Resort is well screened from the industrial part, overlooks the canal that the cruise ships use to enter and leave port, has direct beach access at the very end of the beach which makes it more secluded, and is in terrific shape. Water park with huge slide, mini-golf, tennis, basketball, arcade, kids play place with climbing and ball pit, and movies for the kids. We slept 4 in a Studio and after Disney sized rooms felt like we had a huge room. Room was in great shape, nicely furnished, and well stocked. The only downside to the trip was the Grill there at the resort is a bit disorganized and there is no hot food for breakfast on property. We're planning to stay there again for our next vacation to Florida.
