This property is adjacent to a noteworthy destination that is accessible by a well-maintained and thoughtful boardwalk. Its heated pool with plenty of activities for both big and little kids was greatly appreciated. The suite was well-equipped and felt very home-like.
It's a "tired" property.THe rooms smell musty. It just needs a renovation. he outside, on the other hand, is wonderful. The people there are great, too!
Great space. Excellent pool. Good food. Room was nicely decorated. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Room smelled a little musty.
Pros: great location, near KSC, away from busy streets, staff were friendly, restaurant and bar that serves the pool and has room service Cons: rooms were not decently cleaned (found some tshirt and magazine in a drawer and found used tissue next to bed), one bedrooms ONLY come with two double beds, room was HOT and AC was on the whole time and never got below 78 inside, design of hotel produces loud echoes in your room. I would NOT return and for what I paid I expected WAY more - Btw it’s a time share location so be prepared to be pitched to.
Information about the property was not easily available---activities; movies etc.. it was often hard to order food---few staff available --often wait time for a lunch sandwich could be one hour. Calling front desk was often useless as no one answered. No room service was hard too. We did like the property overall
A hidden gem, the suites are huge with a full living space and a nice little kitchen and spacious bedrooms. And a dining area as well as a breakfast bar
Hotel staff was rude. The do not staff night attendants, so we had to be checked in by the security guard and he told us to simply check in with the front desk by 10AM. So went down right before 10AM to be told check out was 10AM and we'd be charged a fee for staying the extra 45 minutes I told them my wife would need to get ready. I told her I was appalled because I had never been charged a late checkout by a hotel before in my life to which she bragged that "we are not a hotel, we are a resort." I told her that she needed to tell Orbitz that because I requested a "hotel". She finally agreed to waive the fee. Then while we were getting showered and dressed to leave, they brought a dog into the room to check for bed bugs. Good grief. Another Holiday Inn franchise I will never stay at again.
The amenities especially the pool area and the kids play area were very nice! It was a great find!
Very good experience. Lots of things to do . Helpful staff . Short walk to beach or you can take the free hotel shuttle .
We were disappointed about many aspects of this property. The worst was finding another person's hair on our sheets the first night (GROSS!!). The staff was nice but clearly stretched too thin to respond to the needs of the guests. We had planned to cook some meals in out unit and were disappointed that 3 out of 4 burns on the stove did not work, the ice maker was not functioning, and there were almost no kitchen wares available to do even basic cooking. We were using the fold out couch for our daughter and no sheets, or bedding was provided. We had to call the desk and there was a long delay to get it. This was billed as sleeping 8 so the bedding should have been there on arrival. This property was very expensive for the quality of the experience. We would never stay here again.
After several days in Orlando, we were looking for a nice resort to kick back in and enjoy as a way to unwind at for a few days before returning home from vacation. When we arrived, we had to practically wade to our first floor room, located several hundred yards from the rest of the resort. When we entered the room, we got hit with a rush of stench similar to what you would expect from an old motel room. As we inspected the room, it was evident that the smell was likely from the carpet which was at least two decades old. I was convinced by my wife that we would get use to it, so we unloaded. As we put our belongings in the room, we had to kill two roaches, one in the bedroom and one in the bedroom closet. The kids took a look out back only to find a pack of 6 cats hanging out in the back yard. My oldest son is highly allergic to cats so he couldn't go outside. Without being asked we were put in a handicap room, which had a handicap shower in one bathroom. The water from the shower drained directly to a drain in the middle of that bathroom and I couldn't risk letting my young kids shower in there without falling. The other bathroom had tiny stand-up shower and a Jacuzzi tub. However, there was not any hot water in the Jacuzzi tub. Needless to say, I had to teach a 5 year old how to take a shower and we all had to share the tiny shower. The tile floors gave us black feet and another roach ended up in our laundry and we found it when we got home. Gross....gross!!
