Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun

We looked far and wide for a non-all inclusive luxury resort and were not disappointed. First, the resort itself is really stunning. You can spend 30 minutes just enjoying all the fresh cut flowers in the resort. All the rooms overlook the pool and beach. The beach? Best sand we've seen yet (this is our third Cancun visit). And the beach is huge by comparison. Plenty of room and you won't feel crowded nor have a problem finding chairs. The restaurants? Awesome. The French restaurant took 3 hours to enjoy, and worth every minute. The Mexican restaurant was equally stunning in presentation, music and cuisine. The spa presented an extensive hydro therapy, if you want to extend your visit there. Not disappointed in the least. Plan to return.

Loved the heated pools. The cabana rental is worth it

Overall a nice and luxury hotel. But the hotel is quite old. We got a water leaking problem although they fixed it quickly. The biggest complaint is that breakfast is not included. The price is too high for a non all inclusive hotel. Additionally, the check in process was extremely slow. They even examined my signature very carefully.

We had a great stay at this resort! The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is also top notch. I would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Cancun.

Hotel is very clean, great staff, food was good. It's in close proximity to multiple shops and restaurants so we ventured out and found sushi, indian and mexican good. Also a huge supermarket is within walking distance. I do wish they offered comfortable beach and pool seating.

This is a great place to stay. Had minor inconvenience with loud noise from room next door and management resolved it immediately. Everything was great, service, food, facilites. The only thing I will suggest is more staff for pool and beach food and drink services.

The giant pools with swim up bars were amazing. The beach was beautiful with incredibly fine white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. The views from the rooms were spectacular. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing resort. Only minor criticism--no outdoor hot tub and lobby somewhat dated.

If the pool/beach area of this hotel we're not as nice as it was (pool concierge was top notch), we would have checked out on arrival. Dated facilities, no TV for 1.5 days, empty and poor restaurants, no nightlife or energy, terrible WiFi (less than 1mb downloads at best), poorly scheduled housekeeping (usually around 4:00 pm for us), one ice machine for an entire floor wing, no in-room entertainment options and no premium channels, hotel check-in, concierge and operations staff were subpar (except for the excellent pool/beach staff). This is nowhere near a five star resort. Closer to a three star. Also, they were advertised on Orbitz as "all inclusive," but when reservation confirmation came through, there was no mention of "all inclusive." We had printed a screenshot before confirmation, so it was not an error on our part. As this was a quick trip, we didn't make an issue of it, but there are clearly some marketing games being played.

The location of this hotel is superb - it has its own little bay that forms a nice half circle and keeps the water calm and it's very very picturesque. The staff are all so genuinely friendly - they were smiling and laughing all the time and really wanted to help you enjoy your time. The hotel is so incredibly beautiful - it's the postcard perfect beach vacation hotel you've always dreamed of and very very elegant as well (great interior design). The pool is magnificent - two swim up pool bars, fountains, steps, a slight infinity drop off - the works. The beach is beautiful and the lounge chairs comfortable - you can also rent elegant day beds. There is a pontoon out in the water that you can swim to and use as a suntan deck or a snorkeling jump off place. The rooms and hallways all are covered in marble - it's so beautiful and cool to the touch. The beds were comfortable, the couch and pillows were so soft and inviting. Finally, because it is not an all-inclusive, the guests were not the loud, drunk demanding types that drink and eat their way through a vacation..this is the place to stay in Cancun, hands down.

We had a four night stay and the room was well taken care of, very comfortable and clean. The staff were attentive and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The pools were great and access to the ocean was immediate with views of Isla Mujares directly ahead. The breakfast buffet was excellent and allowed seating looking out over the pool and ocean as well.

Great hotel in a great location. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

The 5 star restaurant is outstanding in food ,service, price & Yuri is the best waiter!

Overall very nice. Great location....right in the heart of The Hotel Zone, markets, clubs etc. Lots of kids and rug rats....so not the best for Couples. Would be nice if they had an all inclusive option....But overall very nice....great staff. Beautiful beach and everything else....

Todo excelente solo la sala se vea algo sucios o desgastados los muebles y el espejo fuera del bano algo descarapelado.

We stayed at this hotel with my brother and my infant son in November. We had a great time ther. The place clean ad beautiful. The hotel and rooms look exactly like they are shown in the pictures, so we we're pleased by that. Our checkin person Jerry was very helpful. We really enjoyed eating at the restaurant La Joya whose staff are great and also the staff at the Coral Cafe. I would highly reccomend this place to everyone. I did feel the breakfast buffet was too expensive as we are vegetarians, meat eaters had more options. My recommendation would be to increase vegetarian options at the restaurants and cafe, and serve more authentic Mexican food. Most food was Americanized which was as boring for us as we like spicy food. Or maybe you can have the option of ordering our food to be spicy. I cannot wait to go back when my son is older and enjoy more. THANK YOU ALL !!!

The service at restaurant is really good however the service people at front desk are inpatient.

Hotel is great, hotel staff is nice, location is good too and pools and restaurants are also great. I would do the same trip as this time all over again if I go back to Cancun in the future. I strongly recommend this hotel to anybody wants to have great time in paradise.

awesome ocean view from the room. easy access to swimming pool and beach. nice hotel facilities. close to everything.

This was a beautiful hotel with great rooms, restaurants and very nice pools. The yoga class and spa facilities were wonderful. The beach was nice except for the rocks in the water that were sharp.

Thank you for your review. I'm happy to read that you enjoyed some of the services provided by our staff especially the Pool Concierge team. In the other hand we are very sorry that you were disappointed with our culinary offering and maid service. Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is an European Plan resort, (non-all-inclusive) I have sent your comment to the marketing department so they review the position of our property on the Cancun listing . Hopefully you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future.
