Welcome to our Kitz Retreat, located in the Reserve at Boyne Mountain!

This beautiful 5-bedroom home is perfectly nestled between the championship golf courses and the slopes in the Reserve at Boyne Mountain. Kitz Retreat accommodates up to 15 guests with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a bonus room! Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway or for an outdoor adventure, this home is perfect for your next Northern Michigan vacation. It's a beautiful location for all seasons. Featuring granite countertops, slate tile floors, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, wet bar, jetted tub, and more!
The main floor is designed with an open concept living room, dining area for 8, spacious kitchen, and laundry room. The master bedroom is adjacent to the living room, with an ensuite bathroom and king bed. Alongside with a guest bedroom featuring a queen bed and a full bath.
The lower level is perfect for your additional guests, one room with a queen bed with a full bathroom, an additional two bedrooms with a queen beds with a shared bathroom, and a bonus room with two bunks with twin over queen beds.
Enjoy 2 large decks, one located on the main level, and the other on the lower level. A firepit is available for your convenience, along with snowshoes and yard games.
The paved walk/bike path outside of the front door will take you all the way down to Deer Lake or over to the Boyne Mountain Village.
Guests staying at Kitz Retreat are welcome to drive to Kitz Cabin to park for the day which offers ski-in/ski-out access to Super Bowl, Escape and Cold Springs runs. This is a private ski lodge for Reserve owners and while guests do not have access to the ski lodge they can park and ski without fighting the masses at the base of the mountain.
*This property requires a 2 or 3-night minimum stay.
**4WD or AWD are highly recommended to access this property during winter/snowy months.

The Area:
Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.

What a beautiful home we were grateful for the opportunity to stay here! Everything was understated. There were more kitchen pans, dishes and appliances than we used, there were outdoor games and indoor games “for days!”The layout of the home was perfect for our needs (5 couples, 1 single adult and 4 littles - 3 & under). The bedrooms, being located on the corners of the home with large living space in the center, both main floor and lower level were features we absolutely loved! The surrounding area had much to offer and we filled our days to capacity.Thanks again, our family vacation will be fondly remembered for years to come!

It was good, the place was great but have some suggestions:•mirrors in the bedrooms to allow people to get ready while bathrooms are being utilized•hairdryers in bathrooms•The carafe was missing from the coffee pot, had to go and buy one to be able to use coffee machine. •the carpet should be replaced/cleaned in living room, appears worn and not clean. Appreciated the outdoor chairs and well stocked kitchen for cooking. The email said code that was sent was to access house by garage. Had to call to find out the code was actually for the front door. Appreciated that someone was available to give this update.

Great home for larger families!

This place was awesome! The owners have thought of everything. There are lots of lawn games, chairs for outside gathering, games and puzzles for rainy days and night time. Lots of additional appliances such as crock pots, an ice machine, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and storage containers. It is located on the other side of the mountain and will take about 10 mins to get down by car. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect Place!

Perfect place. Perfect location. Loved the layout, the room sizes and the huge couch! The garage and all the amazing yard games! It rained the entire weekend but we made the most of it! Would recommend and stay again!!!

Our vacation

We all had a very good time, the children all liked the room outside and the bike trails and the toys, they didn't spend much time inside at all, us adults had a great time too, shopping, polish festival and the beach is what we did. The house was great for all of us, enough room, enough seating. Only disappointment was that there was no broom, or vacuum only a dustpan and a dirt devil. But overall we all had a great time.

Old Guys’ Reunion

5 high school friends got together for a belated due to Covid 50th high school graduation. This property was great and the Property Manager most excellent. The outdoor fire pit was so much fun. You will like this place!
