Fall Get Away

We loved our stay at the cottage! Holly was an exceptional host. There was more than enough space for my 85 year old mom, my sister, my niece and myself. The views and access to a private beach on Lake Michigan and Lower Herring Lake were amazing. We wish we could have taken advantage of everything the cottage and the surrounding grounds had to offer (kayaking, paddle boarding, shuffleboard, and so much more) but the weather got a little chilly! Duncan Cottages are close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Frankfort, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, and the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the Michigan coast. We were not lacking for anything - the kitchen had everything we needed, towels were plentiful, beds were comfortable, and the cabin was cozy and warm when we needed it to be. No television, but we knew that going in and my sister brought a small Roku TV so that we could watch a movie at night. Truth be told, we spent most evenings playing games around the large kitchen table simply enjoying each other’s company. Ho Cottage proved to be the perfect escape from the stresses of 2020!
