Empire Lakeshore Inn was immaculate, updated and a great location for the Heritage Biking Trail. I would stay here again and again!

Convenient location for the dunes. Room was clean and updated. WiFi was weak and it was difficult to get in touch with staff since they are only on site for limited hours. No iron in the room - had to go to front desk to grab it and were told to bring it right back to them. Not very service oriented! Also - window unit for AC was an issue in the rain - very loud and disruptive for sleep.
Close to all of the action. This hotel is great. Great location. Friendly staff. Has a nice cottage feel but yet mins to beach and Glen Arbor. Great hot water. Coffee was a nice touch.
Great place to sleep and shower. If you are looking to spend time in your room instead of the National Park, you may want to look elsewhere.
The room was cute, but the coffee maker was too dirty for us to even consider using, and the bathtub stopper didn't work (which was a problem when we wanted to bathe our very sandy kids after a dune visit). When we called the office and left a message (the office was closed, but it was fairly late at night) they did send someone over fairly quickly, but by then we'd already started to get the kids into PJs. We were also disappointed in Orbitz because we booked a double room and were assigned a king (not the hotel's fault - the woman showed me the booking at check in - it clearly showed that we booked a double but that the hotel was sent instructions that we wanted a king). With five of us in the room, including three small kids, that didn't work very well. The hotel wasn't able to switch us because no doubles were available.
