I enjoyed staying at Abby's Amaheimer Inn....The area is beautiful & close to all dining. The only thing is the man who works moning - evening. He is a very nosy individual. Other than that my experience was enjoyable.

BED BUGS! I got bitten very badly the second night.

I love the area! It feels like home! I feel happy here.... I also like how clean & safe i feel.

I will start off by saying, you get what you pay for. Of course this place isn’t going to be great when you check comps of other hotels in the area. It’s great as far as walking distance to Disneyland, and that’s the only good thing about the place. The room was spacious but filthy. The chair cushion had a tear in it, the comforter had a big hole in it (looked like a cigar burn, about as round as a quarter) and it had a funky smell, definitely not clean. The manager has no business being in charge of any sort of facility. He was literally counting a stack of cash right in front of me as I was checking in. He’s also completely ignorant and uneducated about service dog laws and medical record laws (HIPPA), as he demanded I show him proof of my medical condition which my dog has been trained to aid me with. I kindly explained the law to him and he refused to cooperate. I told him he is welcome to call the city or the police if he wanted further clarification and that I would wait there until he had spoken to whomever he needed to so he could be educated about medical records. They are obviously 100% confidential and no one has the right to ask to see them. He demanded I show him. He replied “how do I know you have this medical condition unless you show me proof.” I’m sorry that you don’t like the federal law sir, you have to take that up with them if you’re not satisfied with it, that’s out of my hands. Pay a few bucks more and get a motel 6, you would be better off.

Walls are too thin. First night we had to listen to the couple next door have a lot of sex. Next night our neighbor was snoring like a tractor. Both sounded like they were in the same room with us. Then the cleaning staff threw away several of our personal items, including my wife's contact lens case, and some bags that I was going to use to carry dirty clothes. They threw away our used soap and did not replace so we had no soap in the morning. I asked the front desk and they denied it, basically calling me a liar. "Trust me, they would never do that." Such a useless and rude thing to say to a customer. Just say sorry and it would be much better. It shows they don't really care about their guests. They have too much pride. I wanted to recommend this place, but I can't.

Carpet is old ...drapes seem like they never been washed ...pillows did not smell fresh...comforter did not smell clean. :(

Property had bed bugs, staff gave poor service, rooms are outdated, television remote broken, and marijuana smell found its way into our room which had an 8 and 5 year old.

The room I was in was soooo outdated, had holes in the wall, none of the outlets had covers, exposed wires, the ceiling over the shower had been patched but not painted, furniture was old, the tv didn’t work and the A/C unit smelled like cigarettes when turned on. There aren’t really any amenities... I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. I booked it last minute as there was nothing else available in the area.

location is the ONLY thing it has going for it! There were dirty clothes in the bathroom when we checked in and the comforters were full of holes :(

friendly staff was there when I arrived a little late, also fixed my tv. thought I booked for 3 nites but only showed 2 and couldn't add 1 day or room rate quadrupled in price. great room rate for seniors though(just screenshot your days)b/4 you check in wi-fi sketchy though. noticed there were no chairs in my room :-) great Orange juice breakfast(fresh squeezed).!!!

Where do I start? Let me start with the postives. It's walking distance to Downtown Disney...about a 15 minute walk. Rooms do come with a fridge and a microwave. Now for the negatives. The knobs on the a/c were stripped so it made it difficult to get the a/c to a comfortable temperature. The outlet cover the a/c was plugged into was missing. Upon checking into the room, there were only 2 bath towels....no hand towels or wash cloths. There was no Kleenex in the dispenser by the bathroom sink. There was also a nasty rust chipped area in the bathroom sink. The room also didn't come with a phone or a clock. Be sure you bring your own clock & use your cell phone. The furniture also looked like it had been salvaged from a hurricane. After the first day, housekeeping didn't replenish the shampoo or hand soap...be sure to bring your own. Had many problems with my key card not working. Needed to go to the front desk to have my key card reprogrammed. A couple times, the front desk used a flat head screwdriver to "unlock" my door (my door didn't have the keyhole)....I suppose doing this fixed my door so that my key card would work. Definitely, didn't give a sense of security. The TV didn't work (fuzzy) & the smoke detector was missing. After bringing this to the attention to the front desk for 2 days, a kind gentleman (don't know his name) from the front desk fixed the TV and installed a new smoke detector.

Hotel checkin 2:00 I arrived at 2:45 and was told that my room would be ready in 25 minutes it was being cleaned to return I was given a hotel key and again asked to return I returned an hour later went to the room to place my belongs in room and get my 2 toddler children ready for their Disney adventure I was SHOCKED to see the bathroom under repair and the strong odor of chemicals I told the the hotel clerk that the room was under repairs and I could not have my 2 children stay in a room without the use of a bathroom and the odor was extremely strong and unsafe for anyone to stay/sleep in Clerk stated it was the only room available sold out it would be ready soon I asked for a refund she said no she would give me another room that someone has not checked in to yet I accepted the other room and was extremely disappointed at the condition of room everything from carpet to bath tub needs to be replaced

Dirty walls. No phone to call the front desk. We were only given 2 towels. We were given more, they were stained. No floor mat for the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were torn. Just a room to have if you’re only unsing it for bare minimum.

I ask for smoking room they give me a none smoking. The room was short in many thing like the iron hear blower and a telephone....

We stayed here for one night since we arrived in town a day earlier than we had planned. Thankfully it was just for the one night. The bedspreads had weird stains all over them, the carpet was dirty and gross feeling, and the doors to the rooms didn’t feel very secure. The staff was pleasant, so that’s a plus. Just wish the owners would put a little bit of money into new bedding, carpet cleaning, and better doors for the room.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, however this motel was disgusting! My daughters swam in the pool and after 10 minutes of being in the pool, their hair was bright green. The walls in the room were very dirty. The towels were disgusting. I didn't even want to take my shoes off. Surprised I didn't see any bedbugs. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!

Sink did not drain properly. Otherwise was an okay place. No room to eat breakfast except in your room which maybe why the carpet was so very soiled.
