Airlines offering flights to Atlanta include US Airways, United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and Sprit Airlines.
Getting to the airport to catch your flight should be easy, as there are several transportation options from which to choose. Light rail service is available through the CTA Blue Line at a cost of $2.25 from the downtown area for the 45-minute trip. If you need to travel faster, you can take a taxi for about $40 and complete the trip in only about 30 minutes. You can drive to the airport and park in the long-term lot if it's more convenient. Long-term parking rates begin at $9 a day, but you'll need to schedule your space before your arrival at the airport if you intend to park for more than 30 days, or your vehicle will be towed.
Food is available for passengers if you wish to have a meal before boarding a flight at the airport. There are a variety of restaurants at the airport, and full sit-down meals are served at Wolfgang Puck and La Tapenade. For a quicker meal, you can grab something on the go from Chicago Style Hot Dogs or McDonald's.

You'll miss most of the rain, but you should still be prepared for Atlanta's high heat and humidity. Temperatures can rise above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so dress in cool clothing while you're there.
There are several attractions in Atlanta that should be high on any visitor's list. If you're a nature lover, the Atlanta Botanical Garden provides 30 acres of forest, gardens and wildflowers to explore.
