The farm is beautiful and had plenty of outdoor space for our family to spread out. There were many activities available to use like foosball and slipNslide. Outdoor movie screen was really cool. However, the sleeping accommodations were not comfortable, with cots bunk beds and twin beds in barn/sheds away from the house. The gas grill was charcoal only and the blackstone was rusted beyond use so glad we had a family member who could bring their own. The host was overbearing and sent constant messages and then would call frustrated if didn’t reply to his daily texts. He kept saying he was going to come mow and to pick up everything while our kids were trying to play, then would say he was coming the next day so pick up…all while trying to enjoy time with family, ultimately he never did mow. He also had “surprise gifts for his wife” Amazon delivery to the house and asked about it everyday demanding to know where it was saying it arrived the day we got there (it showed up mid week) so he had to come over. Some people may appreciate all the extra stuff and constant present of the owner however we followed the rental instructions and knew to contact if there was an issue which was not enough for him. I thought for cost of renting the entire place I would be able to enjoy family that only sees each other once a year instead of getting harassed!
