The place is right in the center of things, across the road for Coral Ridge Mall, and less than a couple miles from UI campus. Staff was friendly, the place is clean and well kept. Public areas are inviting. The breakfast was very good, and the little market area was helpful. Their pool is very nice, and much more than a rectangular hole with water, and the hot tub was not only functioning (so many hotels have broken or closed ones) but it was high pressure and spacious. Highly recommend for the overall experience regardless of price, but the price added extra value.

The desk clerk was both efficient and friendly during check-in and checkout. The room was immaculately clean, and the hot breakfast. was excellent. There is a hiking trail along the creek in the woods behind the hotel which made for a pleasant hike. We will return.

Operations manager was not only unhelpful but rude. Called in morning to try to move reservation to 2 days later due to sudden illness and feeling unsafe to undertake 10 hour drive solo. Hotel had plenty of availability, but all I got from Misty was a brick wall and her bragging about her going to work and driving while being sick. Was I supposed to be impressed? Choice Hotels does not support their customers but only apologizes and then comes up with endless excuses as to why they can’t help. Told them I would not be able to travel that day and instead of moving my reservation or canceling they took my money and called it a “no show”. Would never stay at a hotel run under Misty’s management. This kind of treatment of customers is a stain on the name of all Comfort Inns and Choice Hotels.
