After a very long hot ride on the Ragbrai, we arrived eager to check into our rooms. However, they had overbooked and our confirmed rooms (booked in January) were no longer available. The staff was excellent and they were able to get rooms for us at Hampton Inn, but it took two hours to do so.
The staff was fantastic. Kudos to Michael at the front desk. He really went above and beyond to help us out with an issue.
Wifi unsecured, pool/hot tub were out of order, continental breakfast was cold, milk in carton was spoiled. Definitely not a good place to stay 😕
When we check-in we notice dryer sheets stuffed into the air vent (1st red flag we should of just checked out), there was hair in the shower that wasn't ours so now we arw wondering if the room was even cleaned, when i requested our room be cleaned again all they did was take the hair out of the shower. This was all on day 1. On day 2 we got locked out of our room, they said there was no playmate on file. This was big red flag to us so we called another hotel and went there. I find it surprising that our room and service was so bad concerning corporate was there to do an inspection of the property and entered each room. Over all would never stay here again.

Close to the Kinick Stadium train stop. Staff tried hard to keep up with the football weekend crowd.
Several problems with our room: broken toilet, tv kept disconnecting, floors in the room were very dirty. Housekeeping kept coming at the same time every day right when we needed to rest so our room never got any attention. The staff at the hotel completely ignored our requests for help with these matters.
Stayed in their studio with a king. It had all the comforts of home including a stove, regular size refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the dishes and cookware you would need. Very nice room, especially for the price!
I was very impressed with the studio room I booked. I almost wish I was staying longer. I loved having a refrigerator, counter top range, dishwasher and kitchen accessories at my disposal. Very clean room. Very comfortable. Considering using the layout if I ever built a home

Staff were not always helpful or understanding. Did not appreicate the lack of concern or meeting our needs. We had no internet or TV. Could not handle business via internet and without tv service it was boring.

This was a great Hotel. I stayed there for a friends wedding and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast buffet was great and the room was very comfortable. When we stayed there was a flower convention in town and the GM of the hotel knocked on our door and gave us free bouquet of flowers. Definitely will be back in the future.
This hotel is nice. The only downside is the from desk workers. I checked in and was in a hurry yet to find when I got to my room the water to the whole hotel was shut off. Didn't tell me when I checked in. I told the front desk if wasn't on soon I needed to leave and find a new hotel as I needed to head to business dinner and needed to shower. He hung up on me and said talk to the general manager not me
I really like this hotel. Clean and comfortable. I would stay here again with no reservation.
