We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Cedar Falls Iowa. Staff was great, but we had no heat in our room the first night. The staff tried to get us heat but was unsuccessful. We had to sleep in our coats. The hotel was booked so we had no other room to be put in. We payed 2x more than what the rooms normally cost due to the NCAA Wrestling Tournament going on which we were attending. You would think for that price we would have heat in the room. The hallway and lobby was warmer than our room the 1st night. The next morning i went to the front desk a 3rd time and told them we still had no heat. They were finally able to put us in a different room the nezt night.

Awesome hotel right at the end of Main Street in Cedar Falls. Perfect location and the breakfast is one of the better I’ve had for hotel breakfasts. Only issue is that the bathroom floor in the room was slightly dirty (wrapper and a few stains) so it was a slight turn off. Overall, a great hotel I will continue to stay at whenever I come back to Cedar Falls

The key system was not working. Every time I wanted in my room I had to ask hotel staff to let me in. This was frustrating and little was done to compensate me. I was surprised there was no discount. Staff was very friendly and kind, but the problem had been going on for several days is my understanding. Very poor management.
