Our room was so cold even with both heaters up at 80 degrees. There were literal breezes coming in around each heater, and the patio doors were shut and locked but you could see outside through the gaps. The entire kids hockey team that was there was allowed to run up and down the halls until 1am.

Poorly maintained and serviced. Our room was not cleaned after the first night. Couch was in disrepair. Access to the building and pool not controlled with many entrances to the hotel. Kids had fun in the pool at least which saved a weekend in Jackson/okoboji

Disappointing stay

Was looking forward to the pool as we went with our children. Was not kept up at all and was dirty. Kids wouldn’t even get in. Hot tub was out of service. Hotel needs a major remodel.

Not the best place for people in a wheelchair. The pool was not very easy to get to because you had to go to an outside door to get in with a wheelchair. Very friendly staff. The man working the front desk was very helpful and worked hard as he did a little bit of everything

I booked this getaway for my grandson and me. We were all excited about the pool, but when we got there we were sadly disappointed. It was a little run down and not nearly as exciting as the pictures made it out to be. It was very small and only 3.5 feet deep so no really swimming or jumping in. Our room was small and the chair and ottoman were all torn and tattered.

I had booked a suite, furniture was worn out! Toilet wobbled. Asked to change rooms, the next one nicer, but still tired. Heat did not work in one of the rooms. Pool has no towels, hot tub was not working, went down for breakfast, they were late heating up the eggs and sausage in the microwave. Last time I’ll stay there. Used to be such a nice place to stay. New owners. Sad!

Needs an update

We chose this hotel because of the pool, however the pool was not heated at all and was soo cold the kids couldn't swim at all. Our sofa bed had pealing leather and the space was not handicap accessible for my cousin who is disabled. The staff was polite but hard to find at times.

The room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. The room was freezing when we arrived, the pool area was also very cold as was the water in the pool. Luckily we had little kids who played in the kiddie pool. No towels available so we had to walk to the front desk to get them. Breakfast was passable- nothing spectacular and no one had been in or came in to clean anything up while we were there eating so garbages were overfull and the counters messy etc. the stay was fine, especially for the price, but definitely not impressive in any way.
