Rooms were dirty, pull out couch was clearly not changed or cleaned. Smoke detector was actually pulled out of ceiling and missing. Crazy when we all actually had to leave building or room up main floor due to fire alarms going off. They could have mentioned when we booked, no liquor license and could not serve in restaurant or hotel. Just run down and needs more help and upgrades but kids had fun, so we made best of it.

The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options and they were out of a lot of stuff. The bathroom vent also didn’t work. The arcade had atleast 3 games out of order. The water park was awesome and all the employees were nice

The best part of this resort honestly wasn’t the waterpark — it was the kids’ room. Brad, who runs it, brings such a thoughtful and intentional approach to what he does. He wasn’t just supervising; he was truly engaging with families. Most days he ran the kids’ room from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and even helped each family create keepsakes from their trip, which was such a special touch. Every night we were there, he hosted a skee-ball competition right in the game room for both kids and adults, which everyone loved. Then from 7–9 p.m., he ran a pool party with organized games every 15 minutes, keeping the energy high and everyone involved. He truly made our trip memorable and has us already excited to come back to Dubuque.

Adult hot tub closed for maintenance. I get that. Water park is really geared towards younger kids. The entire place seems well run at this time, a great value of you are within a couple hours give it a shot. Our room has a nice view of the river. Only thing I would change is get rid of the Tony Roma restaurant, put in a pizza joint. I must have seen a could hundred Dominos pizza boxes delivered.

The room was fine, other than the door being extremely hard to open, close and it didnt have a lock. Well stocked with towels and even had extra pillows. The water was had to stay at for extended periods due to the strong chlorine smell, and the pools were chilly. This place is for young children. Maybe 10 years old and younger. One hot tub was out of order. The 'arcade' was junk. 75% or more of the fames were broken or completely shut down. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, cereal, biscuts and gravy, toast, ect. Day one breakfast was gross, day 2 was better but not good. Theres also not enough seating for the amount of guests. One of the staff was rude to me twice, and I wasnt even asking for much. The Coke Zero I bought was expired so I just asked for another, and then I asked when time the arcade was open until and she was snotty both time. There was also a lifeguard, young guy with blonde hair, who was visibly distraught at the pool on New Years day. I dont even know why but I was sitting watching my kid and he looked at me twice and it was a very threatening look. Then threw his float down to go after a child (who was running) but c'mon.
