Rooms were dirty, pull out couch was clearly not changed or cleaned. Smoke detector was actually pulled out of ceiling and missing. Crazy when we all actually had to leave building or room up main floor due to fire alarms going off. They could have mentioned when we booked, no liquor license and could not serve in restaurant or hotel. Just run down and needs more help and upgrades but kids had fun, so we made best of it.

Overall the hotel was better than the reviews. Waterpark needs some painting but kids don’t care. Beds were comfortable with rooms very clean. A full breakfast was nice with a large family. Very accommodating with kids activities in and out of the waterpark area. Front desk was very nice and helpful. They put our family all together which made the trip even more fun and convenient with small children

There was a line for breakfast. Tables were disgusting. Out of milk and coffee and nobody on site to request more. This is mainly a kids attraction. I expected kid friendly breakfast. Only had eggs, tots, and sausage links. Offered dry cereals. Room had an false eyelash and hair in the bathroom. Didnt seem as clean as it should be. Seemed like hotel isnt being updated and falling apart. The Arcade had a lot of the games that were out of order. Pool was small and big kids were rough housing and almost dunked my 5 yr old and slammed her into the wall in lazy river. Lifeguard did nothing.

Breakfast area was very poorly set-up and it took several minutes for a single person to get through. As the morning went on the breakfast area was absolutely trashed and it didn't seem like anyone was there cleaning the tables and there weren't supplies to clean it yourself. Front desk staff was a hit or a miss. The room locked us out before checkout time and we had to get someone to open the door for us. The bath tub had drainage issues and we had floating debris the first time we had to shower. There was no vent in the bathroom so it got super humid in the entire room. Not enough hangers. The water park was fun but not big enough and honestly it needs some major tlc. Lots of broken features and everything was rusted out.

We have stayed here a couple times and alway have a great experiences. The last time we stay the fridge was broke and had started to mold. We let them know and with in a hour we had a brand new. The staff is always helpful and so nice. Cant wait tell our next trip there

The best part of this resort honestly wasn’t the waterpark — it was the kids’ room. Brad, who runs it, brings such a thoughtful and intentional approach to what he does. He wasn’t just supervising; he was truly engaging with families. Most days he ran the kids’ room from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and even helped each family create keepsakes from their trip, which was such a special touch. Every night we were there, he hosted a skee-ball competition right in the game room for both kids and adults, which everyone loved. Then from 7–9 p.m., he ran a pool party with organized games every 15 minutes, keeping the energy high and everyone involved. He truly made our trip memorable and has us already excited to come back to Dubuque.
