The host put a lot of effort into remodeling this VRBO with modern stylish furnishings. We arrived during the UK's extreme heat wave and drought. Being on the third floor we opened windows for a nice cross breeze which kept the flat comfortable until cooler weather arrived. You cannot beat the location for easy access to central London and all of the tourist spots. We were literally 2-3 minutes' walk from the Nine Elms underground station which is on the Northern Line. A zone 1 and 2 Oyster card will get you to all tourist spots on your list. The last stop south of there is Battersea Power Station which has been revitalized into a stylish upscale London neighborhood with shops and restaurants. All northern stops take you to transfers for Pickadilly line, Circle line, and others. Right next to Nine Elms station is a Starbucks and a large Sainsbury supermarket for all of your needs. Right around the corner (seen from the kitchen window) is the Griffin Belle Inn and Pub for good pub food. As mentioned in the beginning this is on the third floor and does not have an elevator. But taking your luggage up and down is only a minor inconvenience compared to the reasonable price and easy transportation to all of London. I would not hesitate to rebook this rental on my next visit to London for these very reasons.The VRBO host, Charles, was very easy to communicate with and give you your check in information for arrival. Enjoy your stay in London!
