The hotel is located in a great part of the city and it is walkable to many local attractions. The rooms are clean and quiet. It is however quite expensive for what you get, especially in the winter when you cannot enjoy the lovely outdoor patio. Our room had a slanted ceiling (6th floor facing the fields) which made it challenging from (5'3") to get in and out of bed.
You can see here the slanted ceiling I noted in the comments. This was taken just as we checked out.
Simple bath with all of the essentials. Great show head.

Photos are intentionally misleading, I spent a lot to upgrade to a superior room based on the photos showing a large soaking tub in the bathroom (specifically for my wife who has joint issues and a good soak really helps her). Upon arrival I was placed in a room with no tub, that looked completely different from the photos I booked based on. After speaking to the front desk I was informed there was ONE TUB in the entire hotel- and it was located in a smaller room with no kitchenette two floors down IN THE BASEMENT. No windows, no view, a depressing little dungeon. Mind you they display the photos of the brand new beautiful bathroom with the large tub under their “superior room” when in all actuality they have 1 tub on the entire premises and it’s not in a superior room. Very disappointing.

There was only one operational elevator for the building which could lead to long queue times at peak check in/out hours. We do not immediately note the property only cleans/restocks rooms every other day - so please be sure to stock toilet roll, towels, and coffee pods at check-in as it will not be regularly refreshed and we quickly ran out of all three of those items. The location is great for walking distance to places, but the street is not idyllic London.

Excellent location a 3 minute walk from Holborn tube and a 10 minute walk to Covent Garden. Superb safe and quiet location opposite Lincoln Fields Park. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds . Couldn’t fault this hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

I wasn’t given the opportunity to swap one date to another in the same month, only two weeks later, with availability and at the same rate, due to soaring my ankle 3 days ago leading to being unable to travel to London from Leeds. A charged of £350 would have bed. Incurred in addition to what I’d already paid. I was asked to provide a letter from the Doctors which is unavailable in the UK and can take upto 4 weeks to do so. Appalling service

The main issue was that you can't control the heating from your room, you need to contact reception which isn't something you want to do in the middle of the night. Bed was nice and comfy. The only other issue we had was that due to a nearby fire, there was no WiFi and there is no pgone signal in the rooms.
