Great Location next to St Pancras. Bed frame smaller than mattress size leads to bruised shins
I really appreciate the convenience of the location by the train station. This means the hotel is a little noisy, but the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
We look for location, bed size and a decent bathroom when looking at European hotels. Unfortunately, Megaro's bathroom in apartment #2 was square shaped which was incredibly uncomfortable. Who has a square bum? On top of that, the shower had no wall mount which meant spraying water all over the bathroom or sitting down to shower. I didn't see a single picture on the website of either of these parts of the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was stylish and clean. The location is great, very close to St. Pancras/Kings Cross.
Our room was from the lower price tier so it was nothing special. There was nothing wrong either, and it was nice having a bathroom big enough to move around in and a large shower with side and top shower heads. The mattress was firm and the heating/cooling controls were precise so we had a comfortable sleep the two nights we were there. As close as it was to Kings Cross/St. Pancrass the road noise was minimal.
Location is convenient for the trains but not the most quiet((
Good location, excellent staff. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and lots of storage. The only concern I had was the bathroom tub. The plastic floor mat you place in the tub to prevent slipping actually almost caused a slip getting out. The location of the brass door stop in the bathroom also creates a hazard. It is in the floor in front of the bath tub where the floor mat goes. You have to be aware it is there or you will step on it climbing out of the bathtub. The bath tub is a little too high to comfortably climb out without holding on to something, a bar to hold on to would be greatly appreciated.
Great apartment. Lots of space. Worked well. Perfect space for three. Kitchen and table worked well.
Quiet despite a busy location. Wonderful soundproofing. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and not just by London standards. I would recommend this hotel very highly, don't hesitate!
