Esta cabaña de dos pisos ha estado en nuestra familia por más de 50 años. Se encuentra en una comunidad privada justo al lado de uno de los mayores complejos turísticos / puertos deportivos en South Lake. Además, justo al lado, se encuentra el famoso Beacon Restaurant, uno de los dos únicos restaurantes ubicados en el agua en Tahoe.

La cabina se derrama en dos lados diferentes, los llamamos 'The Big Half' y 'The Little Half'. El lado más pequeño (2 bd) tiene capacidad para cuatro personas cómodamente y tiene su propio baño, cocina, sala de estar y chimenea con inserto. El lado más grande tiene cuatro habitaciones, con capacidad para diez, incluida la sala de literas, y una cocina más grande, sala de estar y una chimenea con paredes de piedra. Ambos lados comparten la gran terraza de madera con vista al lago.

Hay tanto que hacer en Tahoe en nuestras dos largas temporadas. Estamos ubicados a tres minutos de una impresionante colina en trineo que la mayoría de los lugareños conocen, a ocho minutos de Heavenly Ski Resort, a diez minutos de la línea estatal y a 25-30 minutos de Tahoe City, donde la familia puede practicar rafting en el verano. Great Location

We booked this home for a New Year’s get away with friends. Location was amazing, right on the water! We could see the New Years fireworks at Heavenly village. Rooms are small but living area was prefect for our group of 8.

Perfect for our trip

We had two families that needed a large place to stay in Tahoe. This place was perfect and such a great location. The view was amazing every morning and home was clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from the mountain and drive wasn’t bad. Probably even better in the summer with the nice large deck.

Third Time and Still LOVE IT

A wonderful Tahoe experience

We love coming to the Painter’s cabin. It is the perfect cabin and location for us to be together as a family! Our days were spent swimming in the lake, exploring the area and evening barbecuing and enjoying our meals on the deck. The cabin had everything we needed and the hosts are easy to communicate with and very helpful.

3rd year at Jameson Beach home & ready for #4!!

Location is fabulous, right on the beach/water next door to Camp Richardson. There is a huge deck on the lake where we spend most of our time playing games, eating, visiting and watching the kids in the water. The Kitchen is stocked really well, and with 6 bds, and 3 baths, everyone was comfortable. Thank you Painter Family for sharing your beautiful Home!!

Fun family time!

We had a great 5 days at this location. Fall is the best time of the year at Tahoe in my opinion and this house was perfect for our family, including a toddler. As described, awesome location, clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure!

Great Tahoe lakefront home

We stayed here in this wonderful, on the beach home for our second time this year and are booked for next year already. The home is in a great location, and is very well equipped with plenty of deck furniture, and great kitchen. There was no beach this year with the lake levels up, so we spent more time on the deck. The lack of internet was disappointing because phone service is spotty, but we managed.

Aside from the June gloom which was expected, the beauty of Lake Tahoe is still unparalleled. The house is roomy, stocked well with whatever is needed, and in a great location if you want to do other things. It's our second time there and we'll definitely come back! Memories made here!

Our group represented ages from 1 to 86, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I loved walking to the local coffee shop and bringing coffee back to the cabin to enjoy on the spacious patio! The views were breathtaking. It was very clean.

Good But Not Enjoyable

Before our arrival the manager explained us about the snow. But the driveway in all our stayed never was cleaned. We got stuck on the snow and we couldn't be able to get out because of that. We asked for help the plow guy who cleans the street to be able to get out. The internet went out and we couldn't be able to watch a movie as a family at night. There were a lot of bed available and they only allow 12 guests including children. We have 4 beds empty in our stay. Good location for summer buy not for wintertime.

Perfect location, perfect house

This is like staying at Camp Richardson, but better! We were two doors down from the marina, and rented SUPs and kayaks nearly every day. Perfect amount of beach, and great weather. The house was the perfect amount of space for our large family: 2 sets of grandparents, 2 sets of parents, 4 kids. Grandparents got to stay downstairs and not hike up the narrow staircase. Kids stayed in the bunk room with the parents just across the way. The kitchen was a little tight. We used the island as the workstation and serving area. The lack of pantry was concerning at first, but we piled everything along the back counter (feeding 11 people for a week means a lot of food!). We had everything we needed to cook meals every day. We ate all of our meals on the deck at the table that was able to seat all 11 of us. The dining room table inside was used for games in the evening. The rooms ARE small, but all you're doing is sleeping in them. Lots of fans in the house, which was greatly appreciated! I thought not having WiFi was going to be rough, but honestly the kids didn't mind at all and it allowed is to really enjoy the outdoors and each other. The house was recently updated, and I appreciated how clean everything was. Really comfortable beds and bedding made all the difference. We are definitely coming back. Thank you, Painter family!
