This was our second time staying here. We love the location and staff is always very friendly. Our room this time was on a lower level with someone above us and it was awful. I’m not sure if it was due to poorly insulated rooms or extremely heavy footed, noisy upstairs neighbors. Finding the pool from our room was confusing- lots of side gates locked up. And the hot tub was literally green and the water smelled bad. People were in it, I’m not sure why. I did ask facilities about it- they came to our room actually- but I explained it was the hot tub not our room tub. Not sure if it was ever resolved or closed down. We will likely pass on staying here in the future because of the hot tub incident- it was a big turn off :( which stinks because it is such a nice place in a nice spot. But a clean pool and hot tub area is very important to us.

First Time at Cambria Pines Lodge

My stay was overall very nice in the king suite. In all honesty, there were a couple of little things though... like our rooms weren't ready until 3:20 (i was told to come back)...the fireplace in the bedroom didn't turn on no matter how high the thermostat was... the balcony didn't have a table... only 3 chairs and the upstairs people could stare right down onto it. I had the door open one morning and a cleaning person swept the dirt from up there right into my room... there was no toilet paper in the bathroom at the pool and no one replaced it while i was there (for 3 hours), although i did call and they said someone would replace it... lastly, someone started banging on the door 20 minutes before our check out time... weird. ....all that said... it was clean, relatively quiet and everyone was friendly. It had a rustic cabin feel to it. Very easy to get to and from cambria's main street and the beaches. I would definitely stay there again!

I thought that this place was nice but way too expensive and we were very disappointed when they sat us for the buffet at a quarter till 10 and told us that we would be able to enjoy the buffet at $20 a person and then after we sat down and were ignored with no silverware, no salt, no pepper no napkins no nothing They took all the food away. The front desk did wind up not charging our room, but it was a bit of a disappointment. And for being over $300 a night we expected it to be a little better. The gardens were very nice and it’s about 10 minutes. Drive from Moonstone Beach

I liked the property and the views but the property was too large for me to walk to the pool and the spa. Only the nursery is walkable for shopping. I didn't like all the texts they sent prior to my stay.
