A wonderful and relaxing place! I can’t wait to go back for a long weekend!

It is a very nice and big property with a nice landscape. The carpet in my room looks old and dirty. Great breakfast set up for the pandemic. Would stay there again.

It was the perfect way for us to disconnect from everything going on in the world. We'll be back in the spring.

This place is like it’s own beautiful outdoor oasis. The place is “cabin like”set into the forest. We traveled with our dogs. - our family room was large and perfect for 3 of us. We woke up every morning and took a trek down and up the long stairs to town for coffee- treats- dinners and lunches. People on site who worked the property were very nice. Food was down Bc of covid at the property/pool/bar/spa ect. The only people they would serve dinner to was prepaid package dinners purchased with rooms prior. That was not conveyed well upon asking about dinner at 7 pm. We were just told call back at 8 pm and maybe we can get you in. That was frustrating. Great family place and lots of trails. We stayed for 3 nights and we were sad to leave. This is a beautiful getaway gem.

I liked the restaurant and garden on the grounds.

This is by far the best hotel stay we have ever had. This is a great place for families that enjoy the outdoors. There is a garden with a variety of vegetables, a maze of trails leading to both visible and secret gardens with more plants than you will be able to name, a couple dining nooks outside that have fireplaces, and endless possibilities. The room was fantastic and much more than we expected. This 2 queen bed suite was clean, spacious and well stocked. We stayed for 5 nights and every staff member we came into contact with were polite and considerate on every occasion. By far the best free breakfast we have ever had. During the virus the buffet was cancelled, but meals were delivered to our rooms to compensate. If we forgot to order any meals in time, the front desk would call us and make sure our order was put in. This is an excellent choice for families, couples and even the solo traveler. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone, especially during a pandemic, where prices have been half off.

Rooms are cozy and clean with fireplaces Breakfast/eating area is great with a full on breakfast (not just a roll). Friendly staff and beautiful setting.

Nice location and property. They have a good complimenteay breakfast. However it seemed very busy. Its a large property and it took a while to speek with anyone.

This is our second stay at the Lodge and we were looking forward to it over Christmas week. We enjoyed the stay but were disappointed in a few things. First, some of the property is in need of a makeover. The wooden floor in the bar area looks as if was attacked by a wood born disease or an automatic rifle...needs to be refinished or replaced. Also, we went to breakfast which is included and couldn't find a clean table to sit in. The food was marginal and some had run out and was not replaced. We ended up going out and paying for our breakfast.

I loved the feeling of being in a small community. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the gardens and the bar was very cozy.

Beautiful property, very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The units are very roomy, clean, and comfortable. Very quiet. The location could not be better. Mountaineous , lots of trees, deer family feeding 50feet from unit. Frequently an employee can be seen driving the area in a golf cart. Friendly and efficient staff. Cons: A very mild unusual Odor upon entry to unit. My best guess is possibly a previous plumbing problem or some wood rot. However, opening the doors soon yields refreshing, beautiful mountain air. I will definitely go there again and again and again

We are so glad to hear that, overall, you enjoyed your stay with your family and fur friends! We apologize for the miscommunication regarding dinner. New limitations and restrictions were placed on California bars and restaurants during your stay and we were in a bit of a pinch in terms of the number of people we could serve at any given time. We appreciate your patience and assure you that if you choose to stay with us again we will have a better system in place.
