Terrible service.
Great staff, beautiful gardens, quiet
Comfortable and spacious room. Property set in a beautiful gardening environment.
It was relaxing and private
This is a very nice, large, well maintained hotel. Very wide variety of room types. We had a very nice suite, but the experience was marred by rude neighbors who let their children run amok early both mornings of our stay. Next time we'll get a bungalow.
It was beautiful and relaxing
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nice. The beds were somewhat comfortable. The property is very nice with a beautiful walk through garden and top rate restaurant.
Overall nice but wasn't interested in some of the amenities like the saloon so for us it would have been better to stay in a cheaper place nearby. Room was $320 but comparable to rooms half that price in other places I've stayed.
We came to the property for a wedding, what a beautiful venue, we got a suite which was large enough to have some friends over, it was basically our own little house. We will be back as this was a beautiful property and a beautiful area!
The place was conveniently close to the town and very peaceful and quiet. Close to Paso Robles, so we visited some wineries. The surrounding area is beautiful.
The room and the are was very good I would recommend to a friend
We liked the ability to cocoon in our room without interruption for housekeeping (pandemic precaution) We didn’t like.. Misleading promotion No assistance with getting heavy luggage upstairs (no elevator and despite advance request for ground floor) Complimentary breakfast was a literal super spreader situation which caused us to skip. Directions for room service or request takeout required ability to decipher codes of use websites which we were unable to do. NO parking near room. Our lodging was a separate street from reception and food. Room key cards didn’t work after a few days so we had to trek to reception to get them replaced. Main person we interacted with truly lacked customer service/people skills.
I’ve been coming to Cambria Pines Lodge for over forty years. It is comfortable but has gone done in recent years. The people in check in are never friendly. Now if the powers at be read this, they would say... were friendly. Uh No. They need to hire an independent person to verify what I’m saying. Will they. NO. If you were to go I. The bar area and look at the wood floor it is all chipped up. Look at the furniture. Old and tired. The drapes and lamps are ripped up. The clientele are 65 and up. Wait...... I’m 67. Scratch that. No. It is made for old people. Get with it Cambria Pines Lodge. Up date your place. Put quality into it. The gardens that were beautiful are now in disrepair. Maybe they can blame it on Covid. Yeah yeah; blame it on Covid. The place was sold out when I was there. Cambria Pines Need to up their game. I stayed there for two night. No maid service while I was there. No empty trash. No clean towels. Maybe Covid. Don’t take my word. Go see for yourself and write and honest review. Cambria Pines has gone down hill. They are NOT the only hotel in town. You have many choices. Again. I e stayed here many times and even have written positive reviews in the Los Angeles Times Travel section. It was on hotels I. Cambria that has fireplaces. They take dogs. That is great. As said. Send a top Moonstone executive in anonymously to get a true view. Get rid of the person who hires poor un-caring people at the front desk or at least do some training.
My fianceand I enjoyed every minutewe were there. The restaurant served delicious food and the staff were super helpful and amazing.
Our queen suite was a detached cottage—totally unexpected and much appreciated! Clean, quiet, and private.
