Close to Yosemite - friendly and helpful staff. The food at the Bar and Grill was really good after a day of hiking.

The room was spacious but a little outdated. I liked the convenience of having a kitchenette.

Convenient to Yosemite and did the trick for a stay outside the park. No free wifi ($10 per night charge) and no cell service.

Nice stay. No wifi here and no service u can buy wifi for 10 bucks for 24 hours. Its fast.

Amazing location, spacious clean rooms, friendly staff, close to Yosemite valley.

The hotel is at a great location and has all the basic amenities. It can use some inexpensive upgrade though, e.g. replace the old shower head, fix the broken door chain lock, provide a bathroom floor towel, install a toilet paper holder. These are all small things that can make the guests feel like they are taken care of.

Overall, nice property and beautiful location. Park and river across the street. Our room had been remodeled/updated and it looked nice (wallpaper, granite sink countertop, new tile floor in bathroom). I would stay again. My only complaint was the wi-fi is not free. We paid $160/night and I think wi-fi should be included. I did not make a fuss about it, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Large room and very large bath with whirlpool tub. 1 of our 3 tubs had a very loud water pump that made it unusable. There is no Cell Phone service or Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is $10 per day for 2 devices with NO SHARING. Only the first 2 devices will work and all others will be rejected. Phone calls outside the local area code cost 75 cents for the first minute and 25 for every additional minute. Local calls cost 50 cents. It appears that they charged both my Credit Card and my Debit Card for the Wi-Fi after they told me it would not be charged to the room if I used a different card. Very limited dinning options. Onsite mini grocery or a bar with a limited menu. We were directed to Merced or the hotel 7 miles away for more family oriented dinner and breakfast options.

It was just okay. Equivalent to a motel 8. Site was pretty run down. If you wanted any type of food, you had to pay. WiFi wasn’t free either. WiFi is $9.99/day for two devices.

Room was clean

Cedar lodge is located in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and is located just 15 minutes from Yosemite entrance. The Merced river is across the street with nice picnic areas.

This is a basic but well kept hotel in a great location.

They charged more for tax at the end even though orbitz already included tax

Proximity to Yosemite was the best feature. The kids liked the swimming pool. No cell phone coverage and they charge $10/day for two devices. I disconnected my iPad from the wifi so my daughter could load another movie for the flight home on her ipod touch. The wifi would not allow a different device to log in.

Basic but clean. Great location! Don’t count on the sofa bed for actual sleeping. Our mattress was all springs.
