Very nice.
Amazing property, close to the entrance, beautiful surroundings, river view, the beauty of it all is breathtaking.
Orbitz advertised the room we stayed in as an apartment, but is just a two bedroom unit. Falsely advertised.
Very close to Yosemite national park, quiet place and the river flowing backside is an amazing view. Clean room, had all the required amenities. I will definitely stay again.
No free Wi-Fi. I saw bugs in the tank. Blankets are dirty. Floor is very dirty! Room is large , location is good.
Great location, proximity to Yosemite Valley, and nice that it has two places to eat, a general store, and pools. BUT it was very dirty and outdated. Just couldn't get past that.
We liked the proximity to Yosemite. We didn’t like the dated feel of the hotel or the lack of ability to stream media or watch tv. They have a few basic channels, but they’re fuzzy. You need to pay for wifi in order to browse internet/social media. No cell reception and very limited dining out options nearby.
Close access just outside the park. River view room was a nice end of day experience
Located just feet from the park entrance. Very nice restaurant on premises. Also great pizza.
AC was cool. Wifi extra.
The room was big and clean but they were missing the little things like coffee and having the pool open in the morning so you could use it before you went into the park.
Excellent place very close to arch entrance of Yosemite fireplace and very big room with balcony overlooking Merced River . Staff was informative and friendly. Would go back !
The location is the big selling point. This Lodge is only a couple miles from the entrance to Yosemite, which was so convenient. There are no other accommodations this close, apart from those inside the park itself. We also liked that there were restaurants on the Lodge grounds, since the nearest town was quite a drive. The downfalls: management tried to update an older motel with furniture upgrades, but left old carpeting, light fixtures and appliances which were stained and dirty. Road noise is loud and would wake us in the morning as crowds started heading into the park. The bathroom was quite large, but did not have a single towel rack. As a family of four who also wanted to use the swimming pool, there was nowhere to hang our bath and swim towels which was very inconvenient. Especially given there was plenty of wall space for multiple racks. Also, no toilet paper holder, so the rolls were just sitting on the back of the toilet. Very inconvenient and also kind of gross. NO WI-FI, and there is no cell service in the area either. You can pay $10 for 24 hours of Wi-Fi from a separate company, but the lodge does not supply this. Also, the pools are not heated. It gets chilly there at night, so even though it’s summer, the pools were too cold to swim in. Overall, I would stay here again because it’s the only option this close to the Yosemite valley. But I expected much more for the price!
This is an older hotel but was perfect for our family of 4. The Merced river running right outside our balcony was my favorite thing about the room. Another favorite was its proximity to the park gate! It was a really short drive. My boys loved swimming in the pools in the late afternoon to cool off after exploring all day. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back!
Property is absolutely wonderful! Rooms are nice and clean. Nice view of the river. They have a nice shop. Staff was very helpful. It’s located right at the park entrance. We will definitely be back!
Extremely overpriced and poor condition rooms. Lack of most basic services. Avoid if at all possible.
