Had a room on first floor right on the Merced River rapids. Absolutely amazing location next to the Yosemite Park Gate.

I liked the heated indoor pool, very nice since it was chilly there. Unfortunately it was being worked on from 8-4pm two of the days we were there. The bathroom in lobby could use renovated. It's also a bit ridiculous to have to pay for Wi-Fi at a place that costs what it does. The room we we're staying in had clean, comfy sheets (a few more pillows would have been nice though) and a nice bathroom, and felt clean overall. The picnic area could use some attention and I wish there were access to some walking trails. Another idea for improvement would be to have parking lot marked for each room. Sometimes parking near our room was non-existent. We had a wonderful week and I was pleased when I used the key to open the door for the first time. Just keep in mind, gas and food are much more reasonably priced an HR plus away.

Absolutely incredible view of the Merced River (15 feet from our room). We did not expect to have a patio view, and it was an incredible experience. We also did not expect the kitchenette (stocked with your basic kitchen supplies), which was a welcome surprise. Great location, close to the park. We highly recommend it!

Seems a bit tired. Having a market was a plus. Proximity to the park was it’s best asset. This is a very large property over several buildings

It is just outside the entrance to Yosemite Nat'l Park and you can be in the park in minutes.

The location is one of the best as your so close to the park . The rooms are spacious but I felt the carpet was super dirty . The bath rub was huge with 2 shower heads and the small kitchen in the room was a super bonus but looks like the rooms are not monitored for the inventory as our friends rooms had bigger pots and colanders and other things which we did not . So we were constantly boring stuff from them . I would still stay happily at this hotel for the views of the river and of course the location.

Restaurants in property were great and convenient. Mini kitchen very useful and close to park entrance.

The high price is obviously for the great convenience & the nice setting, with the rapids of the Merced River right outside your sliding door & veranda. But it seems that they could easily get it up to 3.5-4 star status by going the extra mile by paying attention to the little extras like tidying up, beautifying the restaurant's salad bar area, the informal storage of non-used hotel material. Having on-site eateries & mini store for food is a plus. Check-in staff were plentiful, friendly, helpful.

Big room with kitchen At a convenient location Very good indeed

If you stay at this property, always ask for riverside room, unless the noise bothers you. Wonderful view.

Great location with excellent views, clean rooms, store on property for food, drinks, and other supplies.

Reasonable stay ..... Good room and amenities...they can improve the shower head and bath tub....otherwise bathroom is upgraded....can also work better on the airconditions and upgrade them...

location is very good, room is big,but several lights and electric stove in the room are not working, have to pay $10 per day for Wi-Fi.
