it was a clean place and everyone was friendly it also had a great view
We stayed at the Ahwanhee during the pandemic, so this review may not be a good measure of what it's normally like. This is clearly the nicest hotel in the park, and it's fun to stay in a place that has so much history. The staff was polite, if sometimes indifferent. The rooms, as reported, are comfortable but outdated and small. Parking is good. But of course no one goes to Yosemite Valley to sit in their hotel, and Yosemite itself always deserves 5 stars.
Everything was great.. I think food has improved. Access to trails to Park wonderful
The historic features of the place give it a personality that is so lovable. I enjoyed every lobby and common area. If royals and celebs are drawn here it says it all.
Loved the location. Hated the overpriced drinks and food.
