Trish at Reception was soo sweet and made our stay extra special. The Hotel is amazing and we had a partial view of the lake and it was spectacular. Would def. stay here again but they are closing down on mid-October for renovations. Book this before they convert it into the ritz-carlton and prices will be too high too book.

Staff at front desk at night, Steven, not helpful and unwilling to assist when we called that TV was not working. He stated that there is nobody to fix it until the next day. Housekeeping very good but most disappointing was the staff at the restaurant at this resort four people in the morning working and had to wait for 35 minutes for a beer and to receive my food. I called in my food and they said that it would be ready in five minutes. Waited 35 minutes to receive food. There was four people working, but all they were doing was chitchatting didn’t even acknowledge that I was waiting. Didn’t even say I will be right with you. Nothing so disappointing. also, we were there for the Fourth of July weekend. They let anybody onto this resort to use their restrooms and facility the restrooms by the front desk were horrible with girls just throwing up chatting changing.

Not pleased with check out and notice ahead of tim

I was llokging forward to my stay because it was right on the lake, it also had dining options on site, so i wouldnt have to drive and worry about parking. Upon check in, i was notified i might need to leave early on thr 4th, because of a parade right out front. Amazing, except i had a flight to catch. This meant i had to leave early, instead of paddleboard on site- which was the whole reason i sleected this hotel. Ive text asking for assistance, and recd a "sorry you didnt get to paddleboard, maybe next time."- not a great way to end a 2 day trip- i wont ever stay here again. Being in the hospitality and service industry, this is a POOR example of how to treat a guest. I should have been notified when i booked it that the normal check out of 11am wouldnt work that day. The parking lot would be blocked off to leave. This seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Room keys would not work, we were ther 2 nights only and we had to have them reset it 3 times. What a hassle to go up and down the 3rd floor only to find out your room keys is not working. We were not given a coffee cups and towels when they came in to make our bed; not clean the room.

The room was okay, the shower knob was loose when turning on and off. There was also yellow and brown marks on walls in bathroom and bed area. Not sure what it was; but the walls could use a wipe down. The staff was very friendly and nice!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Having a s’mores kit was a nice touch, if you could find space at a fire pit. The room was clean and remodeled. The chain to the door was ripping off the wall and we didn’t have a do not disturb sign, so housekeeping came in. We stayed in one of the buildings near the beach and the music from the speakers at the Tiki bar was extremely loud, every day from 2p-6p. There’s also a tented area for receptions that had music till 10pm. Even with the sliding glass door closed the loudness could be heard, not very relaxing. Stay in a building closer to the front if you don’t want a nightclub vibe in your room. There weren’t any foot or regular showers near the beach or pool area so sand and dirt was brought to the pool and room. The pool is not heated, making it uncomfortable. There’s no cafe with breakfast items and no room service as advertised. Very conveniently located with a Safeway across the street. Having a marina where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and boats is very nice convenience. Would stay again in the summertime in a room away from the lake.

We had a great time and loved the whole place. The only problem was whenever I had a question or I needed anything like a pillow or towels I felt ignored. It was hard to find a cleaning lady and we asked to have our room cleaned and it was only cleaned 2 out of three days after making a fuss and then it was only a partial clean up. The other problem is none of the people except the front desk spoke english so it was difficult to communicate to anyone. Other than that we enjoyed your place very much and hope to get back again this summer.

The building and parking lot were old and tattered. Room was ok. The property location and beach access was amazing with a tiki bar on site that was fun. The partial lake view from our room did not disappoint. While there was a wedding outside our room everything was shut down at 10 pm and it was peaceful.

Having a beach right outside my door was amazing. I had a partial lake view which allowed me to have a perfect view of the sunset from my balcony. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. However, if you want to sit outside the room and enjoy a quiet evening, I advise asking for a room as far away as possible from the Tiki Bar. It was so loud that any peace and quiet in the evenings was impossible. All in all, I would recommend a stay here because of the affordability and location. I will stay here again.

Great location, horrible pillows!

Great location. This place could be a solid 5 star resort, but there were several issues. Luckily all can be easily fixed if the resort is interested in making their guests happy and getting their rating up. Issues were: 1) pillows were horrible! Felt like old style feather pillows and seemed puffy enough. But as soon as your head laid on them they compressed to hard flat stones. Miserable night's sleep for both of us. Buy at least 2 good pillows per room! 2) Clock alarm was left on and woke us early in the morning. Absolutely unacceptable! Cleaning crew's #1 priority should be to make sure it is off! 3) No night light or dimmable switches so guests can navigate in the middle of the night without getting blinded by a full light. You can buy LED night lights for $1 each. 4) The toilet was installed at an angle so the wall was right where your foot should go. Reinstall it square with the walls.
