Bed linens had blood stains and other stains on them. The chairs in the room were the same way. Bugs crawling out of the drain in the shower. It is the Budget Inn, so we expected poor quality, but yeah. It’s a place to sleep for one night.

Nearly every piece if bedding on both beds were stained. The comforters and the decorative pillows were stained the most. The toilet paper that was on the roll was nearly empty but the first sheet was folded into a point so it looked "fancy" or clean. I was not comfortable using a mostly used roll of toilet paper. On the plus side, no bed bugs or noticeable bugs anywhere. The A/C worked well. Front desk staff was nice.

The staff and check in was nice , very friendly , unfortunately the bathroom was dirty and the pillowcases on the bed were dirty as well , in a good location , next to everyone but definitely not worth what I was charged for one night

For me personally it’s about location and value when staying in South Lake Tahoe this hotel has both. It’s walking distance to state line so casinos, restaurants and shops are all close. The rooms aren’t fancy but they are nice enough and serve their purpose which is a place to relax, rest and shower. The staff was also nice which is not always the case at other surrounding lodging.

I made the reservation under my name, Adriana, for a Saturday to Sunday stay. However, my husband and I decided to arrive a day earlier. I called the property, and from the very first contact, we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The owner was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check in early without any problem. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt immediately at home. The hospitality and friendliness we experienced were truly special. The room was clean and cozy, and the location is excellent — close to everything and peaceful at night. We had a wonderful experience and absolutely recommend this hotel. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to South Lake Tahoe. Thank you for everything!

Great budget hotel! Clean, comfortable and managers (owners?) were very friendly and accommodating. Walkable to shops, restaurants, casinos and the lake. I would stay here again.
