Heat down to 60, spa on eco, move back any furniture moved, covers put on outdoor furniture, fireplace turned off, inform us is propane empty. Thanks

This property has the perfect outdoor space. We enjoyed the backyard with hot tub and fire pit. Lots of furniture to accommodate everyone. Location close to everything. Even provided beach chairs and towels. Very accommodating.

Snow wonderland

Very spacious location with wonderful hosts that go out their way to make you comfortable. The ‘Tall Tree lodge’ makes very good use of space and does provide ample bedroom space for families. It does require a fair amount of steps to get up to the house, so consider that if there are folks with ADA needs but otherwise very comfortable and warmly inviting once there!

The cabin is large and well laid out for groups of families with kids given the 2 large, private master bedrooms and the smaller kids rooms w multiple beds. Given the huge amount of snow this year, it was bit harder to get to the Heavenly California lifts than expected, but we still walked to/from and it was easy to make a car drop off as well. Owners were easy to communicate with and have equipped the cabin with plenty of extras to make your stay comfy. If you’re looking for sleek, new & state of the art- look for a different place; but comfortable, close & secluded… then this is your place.

Can't wait to come back

This was was absolutely perfect for our long weekend getaway. We came up with 6 teenage boys for a birthday celebration and the house fit us perfectly. All of the boys took the upstairs bedrooms while my husband and I stayed downstairs. The huge open downstairs was great for hanging out. There were so many outdoor seating areas as well. The hot tub and firepit was great after a long day. There were definitely a lot of steps to get to the house, but this wasn't a big deal for us. The host was very easy to communicate with and showed us around the house when we arrived. This house is old and has been lived in well so don't expect it to be squeaky clean.

Awesome house for the fam!

The house and yard are wonderful, the location is fantastic. The stairs to the house were a bit hard on the elderly members of my family, but we knew what we were getting into after reading some reviews. The loft bedrooms were also a bit tricky to visualize from the description and it took a few conversations to understand if it would work for us. For our kids, they work great. Better photos or a video tour would be very helpful. All in all, the house was really fun- Great for kids, great for the dog, with plenty of things to get into without even leaving the house. Hot tub was clean, yard was fantastic, awesome mountain biking trail only a couple blocks away, beach down the hill…Hope to return someday. Hosts were wonderful.

45 steps to house

Overall the main living area of the house was nice for a group or family. The house is older and worn. The main issue was the 45 steps to get to the house. It was extremely difficult carrying luggage and our groceries, etc., to the main house. Plus to get to 4 of the beds you have to go through another bedroom or use a very old spiral staircase. There were no written instructions to use hot tub, to use the Roku TV system or departure instructions.
