We liked the location near the water. Our room didn't even have a clock. Very few power outlets. No coffee maker. No comfortable seating.

This was one of our favorite hotel stays yet. Staff was friendly, outgoing, and helpful. The crowd that was there during my visit was mostly 40 years old. We had no issues with the room. View was great and the sound of the ocean was simply amazing. Definitely worth the money. Oh, we had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was so delicious! I had the salmon and my daughter had the chicken on a bed of squash spaghetti. Both dishes were delicious but I’d have to say the chicken dish stole the show. I hadn’t even pierced the chicken with my fork and the juices just started flowing out of it, my mouth is getting watery just thinking about it. We had fun climbing the rocks down towards the beach, very peaceful area.

It was beautiful! Right on the beach. Quaint and quiet. Absolutely wonderful.

I love this property for everything it’s not. It’s not a high end hotel with all the last business gadgets. It doesn’t have the spa, hair salon, fitness center etc. BUT if I wanted all THAT I’d go somewhere else! So if you’re looking for THAT type of hotel, you’ll be disappointed. But for those of us that WANT a low key, no froo-froo, nature based hotel this is it! I LOVE the fact there’s nothing to do at the hotel! You have to go out & do it. Bikes, surf, paddle boards, boogie board, beach walk. It’s all right there to go OUT and do. So for those of us that just want to lay by the pool and drink/eat the booze n snacks we bring in — this is the place. You can always tell the “returns” — they know to bring in snacks and adult beverages bc the in house restaurant serves limited food for limited hours. So unless you want to DO nothing or spend your vacation at the beach/pool. You probably won’t like it.

Staff was rude and not welcoming at all. Cleaning crew was very helpful. However the front desk young lady was extremely rude. Talked to me from behind a wall and appeared bothered with any question we had

Like everyone else has stated this hotel needs to be updated. Our room smelled like a group home as we first entered the place, and we had no ac unit. It sucked having the window open to get some fresh air. It was so noisy by the pool. Other than that the view was amazing.

This is paradise, i love it! I definitely recommended

We understand property is old but certain things could be upgraded. Cushions on Lounge chairs by the pool were very old. Bed mattress was uncomfortable and towels rough and old.

Beautiful location, the views from every inch of this property are amazing.

Awesome view. Rooms were clean and staff friendly.

Second time coming here. We love the Cliff House. You can't stay closer to the water unless you're on a boat. We bring snacks and eat at the excellent Shoals restaurant so we never have to leave while we're staying there. Deluxe room #1 is where it's at. That view from the big window with fireplace going in background is pretty special. Great staff. Can't wait to come back.

You cannot get closer to the ocean than you are at the Cliffhouse Inn. The staff is wonderful and the view is magnificent. Please eat at the restaurant it is fabulous.
