Simply Perfect

The property was clean, comfortable and inviting. Very well decorated and comfortable beds and seating. Great location, just a 2 minute walk to Lincoln Square and a few minutes drive to the battlefields and museums. The host was amazing with immediate responses to questions. Five Star Plus!

Wonderful historic home!

We absolutely loved this home! Everything is detail oriented and the host gives ample supplies. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The shower is updated, as is the bathroom and kitchen. Nice house, perfect location

This is a very nice house, and the location is perfect for exploring Gettysburg and walking to restaurants and shops. Everything was clean and in good condition, and the kitchen was well equipped.

Another great stay!

We actually stayed at this house twice this summer. We love it. It is clean and the location is great. The parking space alone is worth the stay there. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own little part of the house. We can't wait to go back again next year!

The perfect place to stay in Gettysburg.

I honestly don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Gettysburg! This beautiful home is located in close proximity to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We walked to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Private parking is a huge bonus! The house is in town but there is so much privacy. I especially loved reading the Gettysburg books that were provided. Thank you for making our visit to Gettysburg so wonderful!

2nd stay, perfect!

This was our 2nd stay in this home. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 5. Close to the Diamond, museums, shops and restaurants. And easy to park and access the battlefield. May favorite things about this house is the lovely kitchen with all things needed, the dining area, and the cozy furniture throughout.

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything about this property was perfect! Clean, beautifully decorated. It was just a very quaint, cozy atmosphere. We are already looking at the calendar to book another stay! Additionally, although the Victirian Rose was located on a quiet street, we could easily walk to the shops and restaurants. Thank you!

Simply Perfect

We are a group of high school buddies separated by 46 years or so and distance who recently decided to meet up once a year. Having an interest in history, what better place than Gettysburg for 3 or 4 days. The house has that period feel. It was immaculate with all the modern conveniences. Large spacious rooms, inviting back yard. Our visits to the Gettysburg Museum, Battlefield and Cemetery were made all the more memorable by the accommodations. Its location right in the middle of the town was perfect for site seeing other sites and plenty of choices for dining. All of us could not more highly recommend this rental and we thank the owner for making this available.

Adorable house in center of Gettysburg

Perfect location to walk everywhere! Parking a plus and the kids got to see the bunny in person for an added plus. Very clean and plenty of towels. It was a very nice house and made for a delightful trip.

Remembrance weekend

Lovely restored home in a nice neighborhood very convenient to walk to main streets and school to join the parade lineup. Initially it was just3adults but ended up adding 2 teen g kids and adult cousin at last minute. Comfy beds, well appointed with everything needed. Youngest got pullout couch that was a night owl. Walk in tiled shower with dual sinks and commode upstairs and a darling little 1/2 bath downstairs beneath the stairs on 1st floor. Kitchen was stocked and well appointed-perfect for early risers at the 4 bar style chairs or for the large dining table in adjacent room which was perfect for our staging area for ballgown prep. 1 large hall closet was perfect upstairs for ballgowns. Sunny and inviting with wood blinds and diffused with lace curtains.Clean homey/cottages, which is what I was looking for. Parking for 2 vehicles at the back of property easily accessible through the back yard. Felt safe and was clean and tidy. The front porch with 2 chairs was a nice rest spot even in nov with the sun out. Quiet neighbors on one side we never saw and a small parking area on other. We did the sheets and towels before we left in the stacked w&d in kitchen prior to leaving and picked up and took care of garbage in the markedbins in our parking area. A nice fenced in back yard gave privacy to the gate to our parked cars. Would definitely stay again!!
