The stay was nice. Lots of restaurants around. Parking was not great and expensive, but that is not the owner's fault. My family did get stuck in the elevator the first night, which was scary, again not owner's fault. But overall was a good stay and we would stay agian.

This is our second time staying and it is really a nice place.clean and just enough kitchen stuff to cook simple meals. Our family booked 4 suites this time and everyone was comfortable even in the sofa beds. the area has many restaurants so easy places to walk to and a nice variety. Only complaint is my son needed to work remotely and the internet was not sufficient for him. It also was spotty just for streaming.

Comfortable, clean, quiet apartment. Our only concern is that the fold-out couch is old and uncomfortable. I shared this with the owners who said they will replace it. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Hotel was so nice, cute and easy to get into without needing to park your car. My only issue is zero parking besides paying for 3 hours max for $7.50 on street in front of hotel which was a chore finding a spot. Having to walk 1-2 miles for parking which was 20-40 a night Is just not any fun. Otherwise this was such a great place to stay.

The Neighborhood Hotel is Our New Fave!

I couldn’t reccomend The Neighborhood Hotel-Little Italy enough! Our family (me, my wife, and our 3-year-old) had plenty of space and comfort during our Spring Break stay in Chicago! The one bedroom apartment is SUPER spacious, with high ceilings and lots of space for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need to cook quick meals or full family dinners, with the added bonus of a groovy Mokamaster coffee maker and the best ground coffee from Metric in Chicago. The bedroom had one of the softest and most comfortable beds I’ve slept in, and there’s plenty of space for a crib/cot/roll-away bed for the kiddos. The closet is neat and organized, with a bedside fan, clothes steamer, and even yoga mats. The location is superior, walking distance from some great restaurants (get The Frank from Conte di Savoia across the street). Right outside the hustle of the loop, the hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the Pink Line, taking you right into the heart of everything Chicago has to offer.

The hotel itself is pretty great, but its impossible to get ahold of customer service and have any support there is no one available on-site, and parking is very limited.

The suite was amazing - the decor was beautiful and it was well equipped with everything I needed for a longer stay. The coffee machine and local freshly ground coffee was a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. There were a few tiny issues with the room - the water pressure in the shower was really poor making hair washing feel like a chore and there were no tea spoons which made stirring coffee or eating a yogurt kind of comical. However, neither of these were deal breakers for me. What was a deal breaker was the complete lack of communication on my final evening / morning when I needed some check out information and go absolutely no response via email, phone or messaging on social media. It was incredibly stressful - even the cleaner tried to help me contact the manager and had no luck. I ended up having to ring another branch of the hotel and get them to confirm a door code. The person I spoke to there was dismissive despite me being quite upset and said ‘what did I expect at the weekend?’ I expect a hotel of this standard to be available 24/7 honestly and it feels like a safety issue to have no-one available for guests for more than 18 hours. No-one ever returned my calls or emails from Little Italy. This really ruined my last day due to the delay in getting got response. For this reason, as a solo female traveller, I would never stay here again as it is not worth the risk that something more serious could happen and there would be no one to help.
