Beautiful quiet property. Large kitchen for cooking, a lovely patio are and fire pit.Large house with large rooms and open area concept.Host is close by and when some light bulbs went out she came within an hour to replace them. She is very friendly and helpful.You will have to pay a security deposit in case of any damage, but I received it back the day we left.

Perfect spot for a family to gather

I cannot say enough great things about the Carriage House and the host. The communication with Tabitha was always easy going and she returned messages almost instantly. Easy to find with the directions and plenty of parking space. The house was spotless!! It was stocked the best of any short term rental I have ever stayed at from the kitchen to linens and more. It had plenty of storage space in closets, a full laundry room and large bedrooms. It just had a wonderful cozy feel, and the outdoor patio is beautiful as well as the campfire pit and grill. It makes a great spot for family members to meet up and catch up. Terrific for all ages. Had toys for younger kids, TVs in both living rooms for everyone to spread out. The coffee bar off the kitchen was a really nice touch, too. The location was so serene and peaceful. We heard coyotes howl one night which was very cool. Beautiful plants and flowers all over, and a very well maintained home. I cannot recommend the Carriage House enough, and if I was ever in Elgin again, I would definitely want to stay here.

Nice property

Check-in process is quick and easy. Kitchen was clean but no dish soap for dishwasher. Not a big issue but may need to check on the little things a bit more. We stayed here and last year and will again as it is convenient and for the most part a great property. Just noticed a few things from our last stay that weren’t quite as well maintained. But not a big problem

Graduation from Judson University

Our stay was awesome! This house provides a lot of space both indoors and outdoors. All of our family could stay under one roof for our daughter's graduation from Judson University. The house was clean, well furnished, and met the online description. We saw deer right next to the back patio! It is a quick drive to a Jewel Osco and other shopping. It is also a quick drive to Judson.

Beautiful house with lots of room to spread out.

Excellent communication with property owner/manager. Very clean. Would have been nice for outdoors if it wasn’t so chilly at this time of year. Would be a nice spot in summer.

Private Get Away

This amazing property is set far back on the property for maximum privacy. The natural light in the house was so nice for those that get the winter blues. The bathtub is deep enough to have a relaxing bath and cover everything. Well be back for sure

We had family come in from Iowa, Atlanta, and Washington. Short drive to our daughter’s home so we could all gather for all to meet our newest addition to the family. Our 6 week old granddaughter. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend

Great Place!

It’s a great house. Comfortable with lots of room and perfect for families with kids. We totally enjoyed our stay. Tabitha was great to communicate with. Would totally recommend to anyone size group.

It was very serene. It had a long entranceway to the property. The house was clean, bright and very spacious. Loved taking our dogs for a walk in the neighborhood. It was a beautiful place to stay and Tabatha was very accommodating and pleasant to speak with.

Beautiful County setting home

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and had lots of pots and pans. It even had all the spices we needed. It also has all the paper products you need. We stayed for a basketball tournament and renting this house was cheaper than staying in a local hotel and paying for two rooms and much more comfortable. It was nice to have two sitting areas one for the kids to hang out and one for the adults. The outside area was so amazing too. We loved eating our meals outside and enjoying the view. We had enough room we even had the other girls on the team over for a team building party and Tabatha was so nice and told us where to get extra fold up chairs. What nice place to stay. Thank you
