L7 Chicago truly exceeded expectations—and the staff are the stars of the show. From the moment we arrived, my best friend and I were treated with care and efficiency. We asked about early check-in and were added to a waiting list; they called us promptly when the room was ready and even stored our luggage while we waited. Our room on the 8th floor was beautiful, with a stunning river view. It was spacious, featuring two cozy nooks, a Nespresso machine, fridge, yoga mats, a huge TV (especially for a hotel), and two plush robes. The housekeeping team was phenomenal—despite our frequent in-and-out over our 5-day stay, they consistently refreshed our towels and made the bed daily. The water pressure and temperature were perfect, and yes—the water gets hot, which we absolutely loved. The doormen were so sweet and helpful, assisting us with all our bags both on arrival and departure. And every time we passed the front desk, we were warmly greeted, whether we were coming or going. The location is unbeatable—you don’t realize until you start exploring that everything is within a 7–11 minute walk in any direction. Plus, we felt very safe the entire time. I’d absolutely stay here again. L7 Chicago combines comfort, service, and location perfectly.

Beautiful Hotel Friendly Staff

My only complaint about my stay was that my room was not ready until over an hour after the stated check in time. I understand that there may have been a staffing issue and these things can happen but it would have been nice if they had offered to compensate the delay in some small way as this caused me to miss a portion of an event that I was in town for. I did ask for a late checkout and was given an additional 30 minutes. Otherwise the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel and all of the staff were professional and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
