I recently spent a weekend at this hotel in Chicago for a quick getaway. The customer service was exceptional. As a precautionary measure, I always pre-book and pay for my hotel rooms in advance to avoid any unexpected expenses. However, upon checking in, I was informed that there is a $150 incidental deposit required for each night of my stay. Unfortunately, this policy was not clearly communicated through the hotel's website or any written materials. The room itself was minimalist in design. I stayed in the king executive room, but was underwhelmed by the experience. The room's furnishings were sparse, consisting of a single chair and a sofa that appeared to be from the 1970s, situated in an awkward corner. Given my experience, I am unlikely to stay at this hotel again in the future. I believe the hotel's website presents a misleading representation of their accommodations.
