I booked this hotel with the jacuzzi suite a month prior to Labor Day. Brought my ESA dog. As soon as we entered the room, it was clear to me that it wasn't cleaned. There was a chocolate zinger on the floor that my dog ate upon entering the room too. I told the front desk. It was unacceptable. We weren't from the area, so we were afraid to take a chance going somewhere else. The manager Paul was amazing. He was the only respectful one. He ended up cleaning the room for us. We were there for 3 nights. The front desk employee asked how many people were staying there. It was just me, my partner, and dog. We hired a rover sitter/walker ahead of time to come each day for a few hours to take care of our dog while we left the hotel. Her partner dropped her off daily. For some reason the front desk clerk thought more people were staying. We needed extra towels for the jacuzzi daily. He said he kept seeing people coming and going. It made no sense to ask us after the manager had already met my dog sitter. They had their own place nearby. Cleary, if you have a disability of any kind, don't go there. IT is trashy. And, there's way better hotels in that area. I drove 4 hours for a stressful weekend.

The room was reasonably clean although there were about a half dozen flies buzzing around the room when we arrived. A structural beam outside our building looked like it had been hit by a car and was severely damaged. It made us a little uneasy, but was far enough from our room it didn’t seem to pose too much of a safety risk to us. If we were in a room closer to the broken beam, I don’t think I could have stayed there. There was also a large group of people hanging out in the parking lot when we arrived at almost midnight, and the parking lot smelled like someone was smoking pot. Thankfully, we couldn't hear much of anything once the door was shut. Breakfast was your basic continental breakfast. Overall, it served it's purpose as a one night stop on our way to our vacation destination.

Recently remodeled rooms with new flooring, bathtub, toilet, beds, art, shades - all nicely done. Very comfortable beds. Blackout shades and sheer shades were a very nice touch for those who need complete dark to sleep. Rooms were very clean, staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Nice continental breakfast with several options. Overall, excellent motel for that price point. Would highly recommend.

The room itself was fine, I'd stay again based on that. Unfortunately, there are other factors that will probably keep me from staying again. There's no elevator, the parking lot could use some repair as my child fell and got hurt due to a pot hole. The breakfast was scarce, but tasty. The outside of the property could just use a makeover for sure. We booked for 6 guests and there weren't enough towels and washcloths for us all. No convenient vending options and the ice was on the ground floor. We had a good stay and the price was decent, it just wasn't as accessible as I'd hoped.

Check in was fine. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was clean though there was some kind of bad odor . At 9:00 pm the outside of our room near the office had a very bad smell, something smells like cow manure. The smell was very strong. The breakfast was very simple, just coffee, juice, muffin, cereal and apple. Simply vegetarian breakfast without any protein.
