I have returned to this hotel several times and would again. It is about two hours out of DC when there is big traffic, so it is a good stopping point as we travel.
Drury is always great: big comfortable beds and pillows, immaculately clean, crazy good staff, indoor pool, fitness room, WASHER AND DRYER (bring change!), accept pets.
One of the best things about Drury is that when you get there, you can just stay and relax if you arrive around 5 pm because they serve some buffet food (and some alcoholic beverages for parents), and then in the morning they serve buffet breakfast (which is a really great value for families), but … the food was a little too Sysco, a little too processed, like some giant soup thawed from a frozen bag.
Drury, you gotta step up your game and serve some fresh real food. No one wants to eat that Tier 3 processed food.
This was my first experience where I did not like the dinner or breakfast Drury served.
