The property was very nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly. However, the beds were very uncomfortable. Probably the hardest bed I've ever slept on.

Stayed for a week in king bed room on 3rd floor. Surprisingly large room. USB outlets in headboard and desk. Fridge, microwave, coffee in a nice kitchenette type cabinet. Ice has no city water taste. Did not care for the coffee they use. Hotel was recently renovated, it is quite nice. Bedding and pillows were wonderful, but mattress too firm for me. The hotel is very clean. Covid made for changes to daily cleaning service and bagged breakfast, but that's standard right now. Newly paved parking lot with plenty of parking for passenger vehicles. View of mountains. Mexican restaurant adjacent, inexpensive and not bad. Convenient off highway and short ride downtown. Wifi good. 3rd floor room 304 slow flush toilet. Nice greenspace park behind hotel. Cleaning product used by staff is a strong smell but that doesn't bother me and it smells nice and clean. No fan-only mode on hvac that I could find, bummer. No bugs or pests. Pool area very nice. Every member of staff I encountered was personable and professional. No traffic. Like 2 minutes from Hollins University. I'd certainly stay again if in the Hollins area.
