This property is always a good idea when traveling with family. This trip there were minor inconveniences such as no wash cloths in the master bathroom or it was a little dusty like no one had stay in the unit for a while. Overall it was a great stay.

Overall very comfortable

The apartment was nice, it was very comfortable but could use a few upgrades such as bigger more modern televisions. As stated in many other reviews the second room bathroom light kept flickering. I also didn’t realize it didn’t have an oven but that could have been my lack of reading the room amenities. However, all and all it was a very nice stay.

After a long day of travel we arrived about 20 minutes before check-in time. In previous experience if the room wasn't ready yet a property would at least let us begin checking in; however here we were turned away. The room was large, but there was an odor that was very apparent as soon as we opened the door. And we had a problem with a guest below us; they continuously banged on their ceiling to communicate that our toddler was being too loud at 7PM. It was unwelcoming and not an environment I would recommend or return to.

Waited for about 2 hours for our room to be ready! The lady from the check in counter didn't know what to do and had me waited without telling me what was the issue. Eventually, told me to go to the guest lounge area. The manager said he will be with me shortly but kept on checking in more guests in his queue. Was so p*ssed off since the 5 hour drive took us 8 because of the bathroom breaks and traffic in I-95. Finally when I checked in, he gave me a complimentary room cleaning and late check out that I didn't use bec we have to go home before the new year!

VIP property not so great . Unit doubled booked - on eve of checkin, we were in bed when we hear someone unlock our unit door and yell, “hello”.. another family was given our unit too including access keys to the door. Was never given a formal apology and we had to go back to front desk to get new keys. Also the unit was not “ready” - had to call maintenance to light fireplace pilot, one TV not working, sheets for one of the beds were not large enough and knobs we’re missing from some lamps so you couldn’t turn them on/off. Only was given a kitchenette vs full kitchen. Asked for a lower level unit and given upper unit. Positive was that the price was reasonable, however, for all the headaches, wasn’t worth it.

Very nice and roomy apartment

Our apartment was beautiful and had a great floor plan. The living room was very large and comfortable. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for our family of 3. There was a real fireplace we didn’t have a chance to use, and a huge jacuzzi we used once but ran out of hot water before we could fill it. There was even a sauna in the bathroom, but it was unfortunately not working. The walls are super thin, we could hear our neighbors talking at a normal volume at 2am. Our friends had 2 other apartments that were not as large or as nice as ours. They also had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but they were more outdated and their floor plan was not as open as ours. Would stay again, but will bring earplugs next time.

The Vacation Village Resort is a quiet, open, and friendly environment where you can relax, travel to nearby attractions and/or be able to enjoy a peaceful nights given the quietness of this location. However, my stay had significant flaws. First, there was a rodent with the walls of my unit and the issue was never checked out even after multiple times I expressed my concern to the staff. I also did not appreciate the leftover clothes and hair all over the essential areas. No one should have to see hairs in the tub, showers, sinks, and/or facets upon entering their stay short or long term, Overall, the staff are friendly and the community is great for families or if you just want to have peace after a stressful week its a good book. I would have given it more stars had the issues I had during my stay had been addressed.
