I got that place at last minute, my family and I drove to Port Saint Lucie, for a family meeting, just wanna say thank you for you service.
The hotel itself looked nice and new and inviting and is conveniently located right off the interstate. However, I made a reservation a few weeks in advance and arrived at the hotel at midnight, after arriving on a late flight. I was told that the Hampton had no rooms for me, despite my making a reservation early. The lady at the desk was nice to call around to nearby hotels and found me a room close by, but it was considerably more. When I called Orbitz to request a refund, they told me they would refund the amount I’d paid for the more expensive hotel. I spent 20 minutes on the phone and sent receipts as requested. Orbits refunded the amount for the Hampton Inn a couple days later. So basically I ended up having to find a new hotel AND pay more for the inconvenience. I am not sure if this is a reflection of Orbitz or the Hampton Inn as each Orbitz customer service and the check in clerk at Hampton placed the blame on the other person/company. But in the end it was just frustrating and makes me second guess using Orbitz for my travel plans.
I was distracted upon entry and I was have a bad day to begin with and my whole entire stay was uncomfortable because of the exchange I had with a staff member.
Not enough staff. Arrived late and waited outside at a locked door for 20 minutes until front desk person was available.
Nice property provided a restful stop during our trip to Miami.
If this property was condemed it would be a service to the community. The desk staff and manager were the worst encounter I have ever had in over 40 years of traveling the entire globe. They lied and also denied my my service dogs until I insisted, then when I had a person escort me to get food and left my dogs in the room for 30 minutes they called me a said they were charging me $200 per dog for leaving them in the room! I came nack and left immediately, of course with them denying any refund!!
Good location lots of restaurants in walking distance. Don’t bother with breakfast. Coffee was awful. Place needs some sprucing up.

Front desk clerk, Trisha, was incredible. If every hotel could have an individual as helpful as her, they would all be 5 stars.
Only issue was the pillows where very small not design for a king bed. Shower pressure very poor
