I love this Hotel! Talk about personality and charm. The staff were wonderful, the hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that we had to flip a U-turn on a busy street to get to a lot of places we needed to go.

In the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, lies the city Tucson. Surrounded by several mountain ranges, you can enjoy wonderful weather throughout the entire year thanks to its warm summers and temperate winters. Having the University of Arizona, many natural highlights and it being a suitable location for those on business makes it a lively and favorite city to many.

Where to stay in Tucson, Arizona

Downtown Tucson is the area that surrounds the Santa Cruz river. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods and comes with quite a few historic buildings you can visit. The Fox Theatre, for example, is a performance venue that dates back to the 1930s. There are several hotels located around this theatre in Downtown Tucson. From here, you can walk to the venue and enjoy everyday life on the Tucson streets. Those who love arts and culture should not skip the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Downtown Tucson also has a selection of business hotels since the University of Arizona, and the Tucson Convention Center are both to be found in this neighborhood. A big bonus to staying in a business hotel in Tucson is getting access to all facilities you might need to do your job as best as possible and in comfort. From conference rooms to high-speed WiFi, there is a lot to make getting work done away from the office as smooth as possible.

Another neighborhood in Tucson worth exploring is Catalina. Further up North in the city, you can find the Catalina Foothills which, to no surprise, transition over into the Santa Catalina natural area. Generally it can be said that life in Catalina is quite luxurious. There are several multimillion-dollar estates in the neighborhood. Therefore, hotels in Catalina tend to be somewhat more luxurious as well. When staying in the area, shopping in the Park Place Mall is one of the things you can add to your to-do list. Do not let the wealth in this region keep you from seeing the beautiful Catalina State Park though. This park is popular with those who love hiking, riding horses or mountain biking.

In Western Tucson, you will find the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in a unique location. This natural history museum is located in Tucson Mountain Park and uses that location to its advantage. Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum does so by offering live animal-exhibitions with botanical gardens and demonstrations. This unique park also has many beautiful hotels surrounding it. Waking up to a gorgeous view over Tucson Mountain Park is something not everybody can say.

3, 4 and 5 star hotels in Tucson, Arizona

There are nearly 100 3 to 5 star hotels available in Tucson. The best thing about these hotels is that they are spread out over the city. You get to decide in which neighborhood you would prefer staying. Tucson’s 3 star hotels, for example, are spacious and commonly offer extra amenities such as an outdoor pool or a fitness center. Full-service spa facilities are also a popular amenity with many hotels. Especially Tucson’s 4 star hotels as well as 5 star hotels have invested highly in high quality services to offer you a wide range of massages and other extra spa services.

Hotels near Tucson International Airport

Similar to many other cities, Tucson also has its airport. Located South of the city, there is Tucson International Airport. Around it, you can choose between the ten hotels available. This way you can stay close to the airport. On top of that these hotels offer the regular amenities as well as shuttle services to and from the airport to make your trip more comfortable.
