Staff is extremely friendly. They had a little shop that pretty much had any last minute things you may need.
The pool area was not monitored at all. on Feb 1, 12 kids making a horrible mess in the girls bathroom. The lack of parent supervision in the work out room, hot tube and pool was unexceptionable. Your other guest did not get to enjoy those areas at all due to the children's behavior. Staff was amazing and the rooms clean and beautiful.

Overall good experience. I arrived very late 1:30 and was given a room close to the elevator which I appreciated. The room was quiet, dark and $300 cost of the room did not include free wifi though!
Overall, this marriott was good. We stayed the night while attending a wedding. The staff was okay, but could have been more upbeat. The wedding reception room was well lit and spacious. Our room had a single king bed with the most comfortable pillows in the world! Room was clean with a good layout, including a love seat, which I liked. Bathroom was clean. I was surprised that the room didn't include a mini fridge. I'd have expected a hotel of this caliber to include one. A single grouping of 4 elevators, only 2 working, made for some long waits to get around the building. The pool/hot tub/health club was first rate.
Perfect Location. Went to see a concert at DTE Music Theatre. Venue was very close. Very nice room. Quite a bargain at the price.

Staff was a bit confused during check in. Inconsiderate bridal party took over hotel lobby, including check in area for photo op, making check in a pain. Overall hotel is a good value at the highly discounted internet booking rate. Would not pay price given when calling hotel directly.
Room was fine and clean. Nothing special. Beds were uncomfortable. Parking garage had a terrible smell to it.
Great location in terms of all the restaurants and shopping in close vicinity. Would be even better if hotel staff could articulate what is available - or provide a map to help visitors navigate. Impressive breakfast buffet and cute main lounge area. Only negative is in regards to the pool - deck was very slick and air was muggy so it was difficult to socialize in that space - also pool water could be a little warmer.
This hotel is in an ideal location for shopping restaurants and even sightseeing in the Detroit area. Also, access to the freeway system is very good. I would have preferred a king size bed, but this was not available, and a refrigerator and microwave would have provided additional convenience, but all in all a good experience.
The location was very convenient. It was actually next door to my meetings. Nice accommodations. Great place for business travel.
Great hotel, everything you could want. The restaurant in the hotel was very good and the gym was perfect for a work out on a busuiness trip. Will make arrangements to stay here the next time i'm in town...
Great room. with beautiful view. Bed was comfortable. Loved all of the pillows and comforter. Shower head was pefect! Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Great choices. Loved our own coffee pot at table. One minor suggestion, small mirror with one side with an enlarged mirror would be nice!
