Missed my flight and found a location on near south beach and all the tourist attractions. Definitely would like to stay there no more than a night. Only bad thing is the hotel is 3 different buildings that are not connected on the inside so you have to go out side with your luggage to other buildings. ...
The entire hotel smells like and expensive spa. You are immediately relaxed and happy. Everything from the bed linens to the lime wedges in your drinks- is perfect. The staff is amazingly attentive and kind. The food is unreal. I cannot WAIT to go back to this paradise.
Patty at the front desk is amazing! She became our BFF.. overall the hotel was “you get why you pay for” it was perfect for a low cost on the beach location. I would personally stay there anytime I go to south beach on a budget.
1st time visiting Miami, the hotel was beautiful. The room was very clean. The only thing is the hotel doesn’t have parking space. You have to pay extra to keep it in a garage. The first day I was there, they were testing the fire alarms in the hotel which was very loud and annoying. It kept going ...
Location is great for the SoBe nightlife action, but not so great for a family experience. Only a block to Ocean Drive and the beach, but right in the heart of non-stop cars, people and noise. The rooms are small unless you get a suite but clean and it is not possible to get a suite next to a regular ...
We enjoyed the hotel for the most part but there were a few complaints... first the room thermostat was kind of jacked up it wouldn’t let you adjust temp in the middle of the night it got super hot and when we tried to adjust it wouldn’t work. Second the restaurant isn’t well equipped to handle large ...
Beacon Hotel South Beach has a wonderful staff. They are very people friendly. The Hotel is located at the center of the action in South Beach. If you just stay at the Hotel, the is food is good. If you walk a few blocks, you will be in the heart of the Miami scene, day or night. The beach is right ...
Occupying a prime piece of beachfront between the Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, South Beach is the crown jewel of Miami Beach, a glitzy resort that sits just east of Miami's city limits. Nicknamed SoBe by the global jet set, South Beach is best known for having one of the liveliest nightlife scenes in the country. And while the clubs here are packed nightly with partiers from all over the world, this slice of tropical paradise isn't just a playground for the rich and famous.
South Florida is home to miles of invigorating coastline, and South Beach offers a unique mix of eclectic culture, beachside entertainment, panoramic ocean views and fine white sand. To get to the stretch of sand featured in movies, music videos and postcards, walk south to the tip of Miami Beach. Before you settle down for a day of sunshine and swimming, stop for quick photos at the beach's quirky lifeguard stations, a collection of unique huts in a variety of shapes, colors and patterns.
Find your version of a good time along Ocean Drive, the most famous street in Miami Beach. Lined with historic buildings, trendy cafes, designer stores and souvenir shops, Ocean Drive is a feast for the senses. To learn more about the stunning Art Deco architecture you see along the way, ask for a complete tour of the district at the nearby MDPL Art Deco Welcome Center. If you're a fan of high fashion, don't forget to take a closer look at Gianni Versace's Ocean Drive mansion, which is now operating as a luxury boutique hotel and restaurant. Stick around after dark to see Ocean Drive come alive with neon facades, vibrant music and great energy.
While December means the beginning of a cold winter in the North, the arts scene in Miami Beach heats up with the annual Art Basel show, a spectacular event that celebrates contemporary art through gallery exhibits, installations and live performances. Art Basel draws an international crowd of over 70,000 visitors, artists, collectors and museum directors every year. As a guest, you don't need to register ahead of time to participate in Art Basel, but remember to book your accommodations well in advance of the show's date if you're planning on attending. During Art Basel, demand for South Beach hotels is high, so reserving your room early is the best way to guarantee both a spot in the neighborhood and a fair rate.
South Beach hotels range from high-end retro spots to affordable big-name chains. Accommodations directly on Ocean Drive are ideal if you're coming to soak up the party scene and want to be in the middle of the action. Those traveling with young children or visitors who prefer a quieter place to stay should look for family-friendly accommodations off the main party strip. Staying on less popular avenues means you'll be within walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Ocean Drive during the day, while enjoying peace and quiet as the crowd hits the popular bars and clubs in the evening.
Visitors to South Beach typically arrive by air via Miami International Airport (MIA). From there, you can head to your hotel by taxi, bus or shuttle. If you're planning on traveling elsewhere in Florida or want to explore nearby towns, a rental car is a plus but not a necessity in South Beach. The entire Miami Beach area is very pedestrian-friendly, and avoiding parking charges can save a good chunk of change for budget-conscious travelers. Although you'll have access to the beach and plenty of stores, restaurants and attractions on foot, bike rentals are cheap and readily available for those times when you want to cruise around the neighborhood or enjoy a relaxing ride on the boardwalk.
No parking only valet $15. They still issue keys, so don't loose them.. The King Suite was spacious and comfortable. There's a kitchen with a large refrigerator. $20 deposit for beach towels
Nice hotel close to the beach and in the heart of South Beach. Awsome frozen drinks and music. Definitely staying here next time.
Very nice hotel right on the beach. Clean I love the vintage interior. Only peeve I have is that the shower door is too small and doesn't move so all the water spills out while you shower which means lots of clean up after you're done. Also breakfast was great lots of pastries, fruit, beads, jams, coffee/tea. I find the selection a little too sugary and carb loaded. I wish they had simple oatmeal. Hope they'll consider it for future. Staff was kind and courteous. Overall I'm happy with my stay here.
This hotel was amazing. The boutique hotels are very small but the staff is very friendly and accommodated all of my needs. Allowed us to check-in earlier than the scheduled 3pm time. The rooms were small but there was a generous amount of space and storage to accommodate all 4 people sharing one room. The hotel staff was EXCELLENT with customer service, brought any items we needed to our room right away. The hotel allowed for free umbrella's, beach towels and chairs, which works out for day trips to the beach. The hotel was the perfect location walking distance to everything and quiet enough at night to enjoy sleeping. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Miami to have a quick get away in a friendly, clean, and comfortable environment. The hotel is VERY clean the housekeeping did a good job of making sure the areas were clean and clear of anything. LOVED my stay here.
