I had booked a 2 queens non-smoking room. When we arrived and found our room, it had an ashtray in it and was clearly a smoking room. I immediately called the front desk and she told me that she couldn't move us. I am allergic to smoke, causing me to cough and get sore throats. I informed her of this and she said she would bring me some Febreeze. We also asked for two more towels. She said she would bring them right down. One hour later, I went to the front desk. She gave me the towels and called someone to ask for the febreeze. I waited again, but eventually a guy brought up a bottle of something he had mixed up in a plastic bottle (he said it was concentrated febreeze), I took it back to the room and sprayed everything including soaking a wash cloth and leaving it on the air conditioner to clean the air as it entered the room. I coughed all night. I had a really bad sore throat the next morning. Upon check out, I asked to speak to a manager and was told that she had just left ( at eight am?). Needless to say we won't be booking or staying there ever again. Also the breakfast was on Saturday from 6 am to 8 am but at least 30 minutes they were out of scrambled eggs, there was not hot water to make the oatmeal with and I found the syrup in the cabinets under the sink for the pancakes after no one came and filled up the container to pour from. It looked like the hotel was good back in the day, but desperately needs some updating and renovation now
No alarm clock had to ask several times for a blanket and cleaning ppl woke us up 8:30am to see if we were staying or leaving? Really? We wont be back!
At check in,, the guy was very nice and very friendly. Let's start with walk way. Very dirty trash every where. Got to room was nice at first. Went into the bathroom the toilet seat had feces on it. Second the shower wouldn't drain. Floor was filthy. The bed wow the bed. Let's just say disgusting. Blood stains on the sheets. Carpet was dirty. Went to check out as quick as possible. But that wasn't happening. We went up front and the lady in the morning was rude and didn't care. I walked outside and called the hotel well that didn't work she hung up on me. I called back and told her my complaint she said o well and hung up. I will not ever come back.
Several family members stayed here for a weekend wedding. Nice hotel for the price. Towels could have been better. Quiet with comfortable beds. Would stay here again. Pleasant front desk clerk.
We had a short, but very comfortable stay at the Best Western in Moberly. Big, soft, snuggly beds and pillows. Friendly, personable desk staff. Clean bathroom and ultra white towels. Even the free breakfast was delicious! We will stay there again.
Very nice location just off the highway. Beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were not our style. The shower had nice water pressure but the shower and the sink drained way too slow. The breakfast was not very good and the food was out in a hallway. Very strange considering they had two rooms it could have been in.
