The ad unit seemed to be newer but way to small for the room , made noises and didn't keep room cool, toilet ran off and on all night. Shower curtian lots of mold. Tub didn't drain stood in a tub full of water and had to cut my shower short due to possible over flow. Ants bad., musky smell. The step leading to our hallway to rooms was rotten and caved in. For the price at 72.00 a night not too happy
I knew this was a older motel so I was prepared for that. But steep steps lead to our room. Once inside it was musty and very hot. Room had a window air conditioner which could have been turned on prior to our arrival which would have made it more tolerable. We were advised after our booking that there was no TV provided. Last resort, choice this motel. My advise spend a few extra dollars to find a better motel/hotel.
Mold! Mold! And more mold!! The bedding didn't seem to have been changed or cleaned in decades - damp and rotted beds and carpet. The walls of the shack we were put in were pulling away and covered with mold. The bathroom was rediculously tiny, which matched the room. After 2 minutes of taking our things into the room our throats began to hurt and our heads ache. We knew instantly that this was not a place to stay and we were out so quickly that 0 photos were taken.
Nice place to view boats and just across water from good restaurant . Old place with history, but needs TLC.

We constantly urge the Online Travel Agencies (OTA's) to advise travelers that our Guest Rooms do not have telephones or televisions, as this is unique in today's marketplace. You probably were not advised prior to booking that your Room Rate included use of our non-motorized watercraft, either. The OTAs control the content that you see when booking, and they want to sell you a room - price sells, so price is the primary info displayed to the shopper. We are what we are, and we don't try to sugar coat it. Honesty is our policy. We do turn on the ac in our units, with the exception of last minute bookings. The natural terrain of the Lake area does provide some steep stair situations. We're still working on that one.

Hello D, Thank you very much for your input. We strive to make every guest happy, and we would have been happy to move you to another room had you mentioned it to us. I just checked the tub and it's draining fine. I'm terribly sorry that you had a problem with it. The A/C unit is 8500btu, plenty of power to cool the room. The weather was unseasonably warm during your stay and that may have been cause for your discomfort.
