Remodel and finding elevators was very frustrating. Signs to pay at parking confusing. Need better signs and to complete the remodel

The staffs were really friendly and the was awesome. The bed was comfortable and all the good stores and restraunts are on walking distance. What i didnt like about my room is that the inside of the vent was really dirty thats my room was cold because of the lack of air flow

I liked the property. Got charge more than what I expected.

Upon checking in I was greeted with a cup of wine. The man checking me in was pleasant and cheerful. Overall a great start to my vacation. So the next day, after a long day back to the hotel. I expected a clean room to come “home” to. I used the water glass that was provided from the hotel. The table/desk was not touched at all. No new cups. So I cleaned them all myself, which stinks because it’s not like we are provided dish soap. It wasn’t a big deal but because my experience overall wasn’t good I wanted to mention that. So on with the next day, it was check out time. The lady was not helpful nor cared to help. She was short with answers. Whatever, I didn’t care much at the time. But when my friend used the restroom in the lobby, she left her pouch in there. We were heading out to the airport. 15-20 mins later she realized she left the pouch in the restroom. Called the hotel to have them check. A lady picked up, showed no sympathy at all. Said she would check and call back. Not once did she ask what she was looking for, a name, a number to call back. She tried to rush off the phone with no information. Called back to speak with a manager then put on hold. Called again, no one answered, called once again, someone picked up and automatically transferred to a voicemail to a manager. Called again, finally get to speak with a manager. Explained the issue. Still no apologize. A lot more to say but I am maxed on characters for feedback. This has been the worst hotel experience.

Location is perfect to the downtown Seattle attractions.

Overall stay was wonderful and the staff was all amazing! They were all positive and full of energy making sure our stay was comfortable. The only thing that this hotel needs to improve on is the elevators, they shake too crazy and does not fit the classy vibe of the motif. Also in my room I noticed a few spider webs by the window and there were a few unclean toothpaste spots on the bathroom countertop. However I did not report it because I was able to look past it, but I’m sure there are those who would mind and make a big deal. Also one of the beds had torn sheets, they were clean but a little damaged. However besides that, I had a wonderful stay and would come back mainly because of the staff and their hospitality. But please update your elevators, I felt like it was going to break.

The staff was excellent, the bed was comfy, shower head was amazing, and the location was in the heart of everything.

I am very disappointed that we were charged an additional $23.21 per night per room for “amenities”. These extra fees were not disclosed when we booked. In addition, as we arrived at 11:00 p.m. and checked out the next morning, we received no benefit for the services for which we were charged.

Checked in past 11:30 PM. Was a bit hard to get staff to answer main phone.

I didnt find anything unique about this hotel. Everything was average for an above average price. We reserved a room with two beds for a reason and the first thing they did was try to switch us to one bed. There was no parking discount for hotel guests and no guarantee you would get a place to park if you wanted to leave the parking ramp for awhile so we did lots of walking since the ramp was sold out most of the time. We were told that on top of our room charge we would be charged for incidentals of wi-fi, water and coffee at a rate of $20 a day. So for us that amounted to a $10 cup of keurig for each of us (a dollar value). Our room didnt get cleaned until we managed to flag down a housekeeper at 4pm and asked if things couldnt get tidied up a bit. I spent about half of this past year in various hotels for my job and have never had to ask to have my room cleaned. Overall, we were glad to stay downtown. We chose Motif because it was the only hotel that was offering 2 beds in a room that weekend, but we left without being impressed. Average beds, average decor, less than average service and nickled and dimed for everything. Stayed in much nicer places for less with more amenities and better service. So, yeah...meh.

Great hotel. The room was generously large and very clean. Staff was outstanding especially Gene at check in.
