Eagle Village Resort

Quiet and relaxing

We enjoy our stay. We had plenty of room but the place can use a modern facelift. Definitely needed new mattresses on the beds. But other then that our stay was nice. It was very relaxing and no one bothered us. What little contact we had with the staff was fine. It would be better if someone was at the check in office for later hours during the week. The website said check-in was 7pm which ended up being wrong so I was glad I called the number. No one was there for our check-in but there was a phone and number to call when we got there and they gave us a combination to get our key out of a box so it worked out. Just odd they said check in was a 7pm on the website but the check-in office left by 4:30pm weekdays. We would definitely come back if I’m the area.

Quality Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos

Good deal for the price

We were looking for a convenient, affordable place to stay in the area. The hotel was right off the highway and convenient to places we were going shopping and to a movie. The room is not large, but fine for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 nice chairs, a good sized frig and microwave, and it was clean and quiet. There was absolutely no smoking odor in our room or hallway although there are some smoking rooms available in other parts of the hotel. We slept very well and then we had a nice breakfast in the breakfast room - including some options that my husband could eat (he needs gluten free). The coffee was quite good. Daphne - the very attentive breakfast hostess - told me she grinds the beans! She also keeps the food well stocked and the dining room clean.
