hotel is old desperately needs updating. Carpet in hallways are dirty and old, stairwell stinks, sauna didn't work.

The mountain view rooms have good views. But the driving direction and road signs to the hotel can be better.

Very run down hotel. Definately miss-rated by Orbitz. Makes me question the validity of their rating system.

This is a run-down hotel/motel. The ceilings are very low (6') in the hallways. Everything about this place is cheap and old, old fashioned, and just gross. Yes the hotel staff are nice and friendly, and were helpful to an extent. I learned that room rates start at 95/night, not 199 as advertised here on orbitz. This is more of a 50/night hotel.

Hotel was understaffed and had wait one hour for food to be served extremely disappointing

The location can't be beat. Right at the base of Camelback Mountain, only two minutes away. The front desk staff was super-friendly, and we liked the lobby with the fireplace. Indoor pool was very small, too crowded for our kids to swim on a Friday night. Views were spectacular in the slopeside room which was great. Don't bother with the restaurant. We had one really nice server for dinner, but the food was just ok. The next morning we had to walk out after being seated for breakfast because no one came to take our order. This was not a big deal because there are several great restaurants and delis within a five minute drive of the hotel (like Barley Creek and Village Deli). Only one person on staff on Friday morning. Rooms need updating, but were clean. We would definitely stay here again if we got the same great rate, the convenience can't be beat.

The hotel was clean and we had no problems. Great location near zip lining & mountain trail activities. Close to shopping outlets and about 10 minutes from Casino. Nice indoor and outdoor pool.

Quick business trip. Great hotel. Close to NASCAR track. Beautiful views.

My sisters and I stayed there for a weekend girl getaway. Its was a fun place. We enjoyed the water park that was next door.

We have stayed at this property annually for the past 4 years. Each year we notice slight improvements. The very best thing about this hotel is the location. If you are visiting Camelbeach it doesn't get any better. It is no more than 1/4 of a mile to the entrance. If are willing to spend a bit more, ask for mountain view and you will also see the park from your balcony.

Overpriced motel!! One star for Good location and nothing more... Stayed there for a family vacation close to the water park.. Rooms were smelly .. Sheets and blankets are stained.. First night I was welcomed by bed bugs.. Had to Change the room the next day.. No fridge or microwave in the room .. They charge $10 day for a fridge the size of a shoe box..a motel down the road charges less and rooms have all the basic amenities.. (It's a family destination.. No microwave of a fridge in the room ) that s unacceptable .. --My be that's how they get you to go to the restaurant --the indoor pool is always freezing cold and it looks like it was never looked after .. The jacuzzy looks just nasty.. Will never stay here again..

We call for room service no complaint staff are very only the food other then that every this very nice people.

convenient but low on activites - camelback is walking distance!

When looking for a last minute hotel for a weekend away, Chateau Resort was exactly what we were looking for. Just a few hour drive from NY, Chateau Resort was clean, the staff was friendly, and the views of the ski slopes were really lovely (even if it wasn't ski season). There isn't really anything about this hotel that will blow anyone away, but it is everything you will want for a short stay. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were clean and fairly empty, the lounge had live entertainment on both Friday and Saturday night, and the staff was efficient and friendly.

I truly got a good rest sleep...would definitely come again

Was expecting a little bit more. The hotel was pretty worn out (carpets, furniture, facilities). It gets heavy traffic from all the guests and their winter gear but I have stayed in ski resorts that aren't this tired. I also wondered if we got a dumpy room as we brought our dog, but was told all the rooms are pet friendly and the same condition. The sauna was not working and the pool and hot tub were not warm enough to enjoy. The plus side - it is pet friendly and close to the mountain. We had a lovely view of the slopes all lit up.

There was really nothing special or bad about this place. The room was interesting with a spiral staircase, but it smelled like a smoking bar. the TV's had a large variety of channels, but it was a tube TV. they allowed us to checkin early and the restaurant in the hotel was pretty good. We were able to entertain ourselves enough when we were snowed in on the first day.

wonderful time, going again in October, cant wait!

The hotel staff were very pleasant and the pleasantry ended there. The room was very plain and had a ordor of mold which was seen on the curtains. The view of the parking lot was nice if you were an auto dealer. The bar tender was very nice and i could have used a few more drinks after the disappointing diner. I had Kielbasa and Pierogies but they forgot the Pierogies. They very nice waitress simply said it was her fault but did not do anything other then that. Overall a very simple place for those not expecting much. Im not very hard to please, but even for me the hotel had a lot to be desired.

We stayed the night at this hotel because we went to the casino at Mt Airy. This hotel was much cheaper to stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others
